I’m really passionate about natural remedies to keep the family healthy, I purchased this to keep in my Medicinal cabinet when the kids aren’t feeling very well. It certainly didn’t disappoint. Has a beautiful flavour and is amazing in some tea when you’re not feeling well.My cold was gone in a flash using this honey daily! Very please with Biosota Manila Honey MGO 1717. The honey tasted very silky and smooth. I used this honey to treat my gastrointestinal Metaplasia along with Mastic Gum and medication. My stomach is feeling so much better and I can eat without feeling stomach bloating and pain. I like Biosota Manuka honey over other brands for it is organic and certified Manuka Honey. We are not Manuka Honey experts, however when buying such an expensive honey with a 1717+ MGO we expect the honey not to have crystallized. Our first order was perfect (8.8 oz.) we then reordered another 8.8 oz. and a 17.5 oz. and they were both received crystallized which is really unacceptable at these prices. Our guess is the honey when being processed at packaging and they are packaging the honey either the last part or first part of the batch ( depending on how it is delivered to the container ) has weighted itself as the crystallized honey is clumped and the uncrystallized honey floats to the top as can be seen when first opening the delivered jar.The honey may have the same properties but the texture is not pleasant compared to the non crystallized ... MoreWe are not Manuka Honey experts, however when buying such an expensive honey with a 1717+ MGO we expect the honey not to have crystallized. This is one of the best if not the best Manuka Honey I've ever tried .Tasty and most of all did a fantastic job in killing this bacterial infection.I took both CERTIFIED ORGANIC MANUKA HONEY (MGO 1717+) NPA 31+My only complaint is the exorbitant price for the CERTIFIED ORGANIC MANUKA HONEY (MGO 1717+) for a 500g jar!Other than that top quality products!I would offer a 1g jar for that price at least you get value for money! Because if you use the 500g every day two to three times a day it gets extremely expensive!!!!

1717 has a wonderful gelatinous texture, dark golden amber colour with rich burnt caramel notes. I use this honey as a twice daily dose as I suffer with autoimmune conditions.It is expensive honey but the health benefits outweigh the price concern.Biosota packaging is second to none and you feel as though you’re getting something special when it arrives.

The flavor is bold and robust, characterized by an earthy quality and hints of jammy fruitiness. The texture is gelatinous, which I've never experienced in a honey. Now, for the health benefits: the honey relaxed me just as soon as I finished a spoonful. You can tell that it is dense with minerals and nutrition. However, I did note that it didn't immediately help my sore throat. Perhaps this is because it is a multifloral honey, in contrast to equivalent-strength monofloral honeys I've had from New Zealand -- which promptly relieved soreness in the throat.
