BioTrue Oneday For Presbyopia - 90 Pack

I fully endorse this company. Very quick and competitive price. I remember several years ago they were doing a small promotion and giving away a small eye drop for dry eyes for every purchase and I bought a set of contact lenses. They enclosed a small packet of Haribo instead which I found insulting, but after complaining, there was a satisfying explanation and apology and there was a personal touch. Matter closed amicably. I have been with this company for a long time now and that was the only time I was not happy

These lenses , in my opinion, are the best for comfort and high water content. I work in an operating theatre where air conditioning is high and very drying . My eyes at the end of the day(sometimes very long day) are still comfortable. I have tried other lenses but end up with painful scratchy eyes by midday. These are, by a very wide margin, the best I've ever used. The end!

Can't focus on nearby objects

If you are experiencing Presbyopia, it is not advisable to purchase this particular lens. I am presently using Bausch + Lomb Ultra contact lenses designed for Presbyopia, and I purchased these lenses under the assumption that they would provide a similar experience. However, with these lenses, I can no longer focus on objects up close. I reached out to EZcontacts to initiate a return for the lenses, but they declined the request due to the opened packaging.

Excellent distance barely passable near

As an optician I’ve tested many bifocal contacts. The reality is that all of them generally give you “acceptable” but not great distance or near or both. This is the first lens that gives excellent distance. However the near vision will get you by if you have enough light but do t expect to sit on your phone and use it clearly. So if your priority is distance with the ability to squeak by on the reading this is the lens for you.

For the most part it

For the most part it is pretty easy. Sometimes it is not easy to figure out how to put in the prescription and when to upload the prescription. For example, I am unsure if I am supposed to type in the prescription as well as upload it or simply upload the prescription only. Also, when I use my insurance the boxes are never fully accessible for me to enter in all of my information. Otherwise, I find it easy & simple to shop and order myself and my family's contact lenses.

Great product and service

I had to switch to daily contacts due to dry eye syndrome. I tried several products. The Biotrue ONEday for Presbyopia were the most comfortable and gave me the best vision with my prescription. They are also very easy to separate from the other contacts and to peel open. Some of the other products were hard to open without tearing the seal of the other contact immediatley connected to it and difficult to grip the edge to pull it back. This was very frustrating as it caused me to waste contacts. (The worst ones for this were the Acuvue brand) . Hope this helps someone out there :)

Okay But Not Great

It's an okay multifocal length contact for me. After trying these out for a few weeks I've found the following pro's and con's: pro's > great for seeing up close and fine print, great for seeing distance, adjusting between the two works fairly well but not all the time, comfortable lens for about 8 hours wearing. con's > always had a contact with blurred vision throughout the day. I'd rub my eye and it would clear up for a short time then go back to fuzzy/blurry. Out of the 30 pack I bought I had only 2 days where both contacts worked well. They dry out quickly if you rest your eyes (I took a 1/2 hour nap and when I opened my eyes the contacts felt like they were stuck to my eyeballs. Very uncomfortable). Overall a decent contact but just not the right ones for me.

Pretty good but not perfect

Pros: Not bad, they work pretty good during outside activity. They don't give my +2.5 but it still OK during daylight especially sunny days. Great budget opportunity for outside exercises like biking/running/swimming/etc.Cons: definitely not for computer guys coz they dry eyes really fast during computer's work. Regarding presbyopia option - high level is less than +2.5 as desired, I still should use light power (+1) glasses for small jobs and reading, especially during night time. And minus one star traditionally for lack of opportunity to get samples!

The best lenses I’ve found for Presbyopia

I’ve tried several brands, and these are by far, the best that I’ve found. The lens itself is sturdier, which makes it much easier to handle and to wear throughout th day. Other brands are so flimsy that I often struggle with even getting them to sit open on the tip of my finger to insert them. The other brands fold over on themselves and are very difficult to handle. The Bio-True also wear better throughout the day. They stay in place well and don’t fall out of my eyes if I rub my eyes. Even without rubbing my eyes, I’ve had other brands just randomly pop out of my eye while sitting at my desk reading. These Bio-True are so comfortable that I forget I’m wearing them. UP CLOSE IS NOT GOOD

Up close vision is NOT CLEAR. I was using Acu-Vue multi focal and decided to give these a try as they are less expensive. I usually wear a 8.4, these are not offered in that size. Distance is just ok, but the up close vision is way off. I have to wear readers with these contacts. Make sure you follow your fit on your prescription. Perhaps if they made the ADD higher for up close, these would be ok. I'm going back to my other option.
