Birch Benders Organic Pancake and Waffle Mix Chocolate Chip 16 oz.

Delicious, fluffy, easy to make. I follow the directions pretty much to the t. Don’t mix too much, that will make sure they stay fluffy. This is not the texture of other mixes like bisquick, it’s way better. I throw fresh berries in the mix and it’s awesome. The easiest batter - literally just add water! I don’t even use butter on the griddle, just toss these on medium low heat, flip once, and that’s that. Highly recommend.

First, I am a horrible cook and normally in past made unintentional Cajun style burnt pancakes. I purchased these during pandemic because other options were not available to me and it was a wonderful discovery in a horrible time. These made the best tasting and best texture pancakes I have ever produced. Directions are extremely simple, just add water. Package holds two batches worth, one batch being just enough for my son and I. Minimal but effective packaging was appreciated, and as my son says, just the artwork alone makes them look good. They mean well, but they fall apart so easily, and the flavor can be a bit to get used to. They are not cheap either. Let’s be honest-some foods just can’t be made low carb without sacrificing some of their other qualities that make them good in the first place.

Best pancakes ever.

The quality of this pancake mix is phenomenal. The ingredients are very clean, the taste is delicious. It’s super easy to use, the size is perfect if you don’t eat a lot of pancakes regularly and the packing is very nice bcos it comes in a resealable bag so you don’t have to worry about it getting gross.

The best find ever! Tastes fresh and real, that’s why I love organic. These make fluffy pancakes. One bag makes about a dozen pancakes. Easy to make and I always keep a bag on hand for Sunday breakfast.

Excellent Pancake Mix!

My kids love chocolate chip pancakes and I like the fact that this is made from high quality organic ingredients.They love the taste and the size of the package was enough to make enough pancakes for a hungry family of five! The composition of the pancakes came out nice and fluffy!

Good taste and ingredients

First time trying these, and they’re so good! Just make sure to use the entire bag if you want average-sized pancakes. Otherwise, follow the instructions on the package for the smaller pancakes. I do wish they’d add more chocolate chips to the mix. I found there wasn’t enough to go around. Other than that excellent taste and texture.

High protein pancakes

I've been buying Birch Benders Pancake mix for a long time. I'm a label reader and have taken several college nutrition courses. What I look for in a breakfast product is; 1. how much protein I get per serving, 2. does the carbohydrate/protein ration come in under 8. This mix offers both. Carbs are 23/3, a ratio of 7. 6. In nutrition, if you have a ratio less than 8 you won't have a sugar high followed by a sugar low and starvation at 11:AM. If you make the mix with a cup of milk you add another 8 grams of protein to the batter. That gives you only 12 more carbs. The ratio is then 23 + 12 carbs (35 carbs)/11 proteins which equals 35/11 or a ratio of 3.6 which makes these cakes a low carb high protein breakfast. Really tasty pancakes

This is the first time I use pancake mix, I like the fact that I don't need eggs and that the ingredients are organic. I made the pancakes in 5 minutes and they was fluffy and delichius. the package is not big, so it is not cheap, but its very quality and taste great.
