I have been wearing Birkenstocks for years and I truly love them. I needed a new pair of black ones without a cork sole. I was excited to love these high shine black ones with the leather sole BUT I was so disappointed. Patent leather is tricky and these looked so cheap. It had imprints of melting on each pair near the buckles I tried on and the one that was delivered.I love how comfortable Birkenstocks are but these are not it. I have skinny feet. These straps dug into my feet and hurt so badly. It even cut the top of my foot.. no thanks - don’t get them. If you want black, get the regular, or oiled one, don’t get these.

I have found that Birkenstocks run slightly large for my foot! The suggested size 38 for my size 7 would have been to large! I ordered the 37 narrow and it is a perfect fit! I love the Sandcastle color! Absolutely love these and the fit is spot on for me! I’m very happy with my purchase and the color goes with everything! So if you are on the fence: just buy them! ❤️😊🙌💃

I was watching these for a while. The gold buckles make for a shoe that can be dressed up or for casual wear. I bought my regular size 37 and I have a medium to slim foot. The buckles allow for a perfect fit. Only worn inside so far but feel comfortable, no squeaking, the inside, lined solesare nice too. Fast and free postage from Styletread. Got my eye on another colour now too!

Yikes. This has a narrow fit unbeknownst to me. Very few sites delineate difference online between narrow& wide fit in Arizona style. Seems like the only way to tell is by looking on the side of box to clarify. Returning. Buying wide directly from Birkenstock. If Bloomies noted the ‘fit’ on website, I’d buy from them!
I ordered these to try as I wasn't sure on the fit after reading other reviews.Although they are advertised as narrow, they actually came in a regular fit.This suits me better, however as one other reviewer has stated, they do feel a bit hard and scratchy underneath the buckles.I'm not sure if I'll be keeping them or not.Style over comfort doesn't always work when it comes to footwear.
I LOVE Birkenstocks for their comfort, but these do not hit the comfort mark. The upper leather is too stiff, and the width is extremely narrow. Would not be able to wear these without destroying my feet. Might be OK with someone with narrow feet, but the stiffness of the leather upper might still be an issue. They get points for being super cute, though.
I have many pairs of Birkenstocks and have been looking for a pair of white ones. I like the look of the big buckle and was looking forward to receiving them. unfortunately, I was very disappointed. the leather is extremely stiff and uncomfortable. the footbed looks cute in white, but it’s also stiff and uncomfortable. if you are looking for comfort, stay away from these.
I got all leather sandals that has color all over and foot bed area. The leather seems good quality and pretty colors from pink to shiny blank or beige. Ah I was hoping these would work but first pair gave me pain in the middle of arch area. The second pair was cutting to top of my foot and leaving red marks too. A discomfort and cut is a big no. How did these pass QA? over $170 for painful sandals. An illusion of beauty. They run small and I had to size up to 10 instead of usual 9. The sole of shoe smells like that tire or roofing tar. They could’ve done better. I have went with crock as usual and softer leather with big buckle. Much better.
I have about 100pairs of birki’s including my work shoes (nurse) I was so excited to see them participating in the anniversary sale. These and the other style were the first things on my wishlist to purchase. I ordered in two sizes because I’m familiar with how they run at Nordstrom. Needless to say…..I loooooove them. Such a fresh idea. The gold buckle is a beautiful color gold. I’m truly surprised they have not sold out. Even the influencers on Instagram, who are not a Birki lover like me, fell in love with them. They are a beautiful addition to my birki collection. And yes, there is a general “break in” period, can last two weeks for some people but mine were great as usual right out of the box. ❤️❤️. Please do another style next year!
First of all sizing is off the way they have them listed especially for those olive color that I Got. Size 41 should be listed as 10 as what the actual box shows after I had to exchange it. I clicked on 10 here and that is showing 40 which I didn’t notice. it should show as 41 so you need to correct that. I am usually 40 but these run small and touch edges so in these I am 41 or 10. Olive color is pretty but I hope leather loosen up as seems to rub off my skin and it turns painful. It might take time to break it in and leather to feel more comfortable with time. Perfect Fall season color and goes with many outfits.
