An old love of mine
I used to have a pair of these that I wore to death. Then I ventured off to Naot and Vionic. A while back I got a pair of these Arizona's in plastic, which came in handy if I was putting on foot cream and didn't want to slide my greased up feet into my Vionic slippers. Nordstrom gifted me a note and I spent it on these really lovely Arizona Birko-Flor Slide Sandals. I could have worn them the week before this last one, but the temp are back down and that makes me want to wear socks and clogs. When it heats back up, I'll be living in these Birkenstocks. I am a true Euro 39 size wise and I appreciate it when manufacturers don't make me guess between 8, 8.5 and 9. Looking at YOU, Blondo.... Show more

Comfortable, Versatile and Should Last Forever
I've had a pair of Birk Milanos for over 20 years and decided these would be a good addition to my wardrobe. The black buckles blend in for a simple look, which I like. They're perfect for wearing with shorts, trousers, jeans, dresses etc, and they're very comfortable. I usually go for a 5.5 and ordered these in a 6 as half sizes weren't available, and they're a good fit. I have fairly narrow feet and don't notice these fitting (or looking) different from the standard width ones; of course, there's room for adjustment with the buckles if they feel too loose or tight.A good pair of sandals that should get plenty of wear and, if they're anything like my other pair, should last for years.... CUTE
Love my new Birkenstock. Waited a few days before I submitted my personal review because I was hoping one little issue changed. Let’s start off with how cute they are the big buckles make even better, the color is perfect. One issue that I read on other reviews are very true. The squeaky fart noises. OMG. I hate it. I wore them over and over hoping to break that sound. But nothing. The size I’m a size 8 in 99% of all shoes. I had tried on the 38 but felt they were too snuggled. So I went with my actual size 39 they do fit okay, at times I think I should have went with a 38. As I do tend to flip flop in them and do wanted them to be snuggled in. But I guess I’m okay. Guess if On my next color (black) I’ll size down.... Show more

frustrated
I have ordered two separate pairs, and returned, of the Arizona big buckle in the oiled cognac color in the last week. The first pair were two completely different colors. The left was an oiled bronze and the right was an almost butterscotch color. Almost like they forgot to oil it. The second pair, which I just picked up tonight, still had a mismatch color(again the left was darker than the right) to it as well as being blotchy. Neither pair looked like what is pictured on the website. I will now return this pair and have ordered another one from the Nordstrom website and will pick up tomorrow. I wish I lived closer to a store that carries Birkenstocks so I could choose in person. I own multiple pairs of Birks and have never had this issue before. It looks like ... However luck should not be a factor when spending $200 on a pair of shoes.... Show more

Makes way too much noise
I bought these because I wanted an affordable way to try out Birkenstocks but I also loved the monochrome black look of these more than the original.I ordered my normal size. I found it to be true to size but I did have to tighten the straps quite a bit. I consider myself to have average width feet and this is supposed to be the narrow width but I still found it quite wide. However, the sizing was not an issue for me because the straps are adjustable and I think if I were to go down a size, it would have been too small length wise for my foot.My major complaint about these shoes is that they just make too much noise. When your feet are dry, they'll occasionally make a farting noise. If your feet are wet, the shoes will squeak with literally every step you take. ... It made me quite self conscious and I don't think I'll be using these as much as I intended. In terms of comfort, I wasn't too impressed. Heard great things about Birkenstocks and maybe I just need to get used to the foot bed but I actually thought it hurt my feet, especially because I wasn't walking comfortably because I was trying to minimize the sound of the squeaking! Also I don't think they're that flattering when worn, the top of the sandals has an irregular shape.... Most comfortable shoes
I have bought several pairs of these shoes for my two daughters and l. We probably have, if not close to every different style of straps to the different materials that they make them in to several different colors. We absolutely love our Birkenstocks! They are the most comfortable sandles/shoes made (my opinion). We wear our older ones, just as much as we do the ones we’ve purchased most recent. They are all in great shape, the suede might hv lightened up a little from the sun, a llittle rough in some spots from sand or got wet, just normal wear and tear like anything else. They get a little more computable every time I put them on. Everyone I notice wearing a pair of Birkenstocks has made it clear they “definitely do not regret purchasing them and are the most ... pricey for a basic slide on
I really like these waterproof slides but, they replaced an EXACT $8 knock off pair I purchased on a beach vacation 2 years ago. (I honestly liked the $8 pair better). I worry about how long these will last before they start to crack at the inner corner of the big toe due to natural foot movement while wearing them (other reviews said this was a problem) I chose these over other brands/types because of the decent arch support. I'm hoping these last longer than the $8 knock off pair I had, but at the end of the day, its a basic plastic shoe with a limited lifetime. Do note, that these slides are only available in 'narrow' shape rather than the regular 'wide' foot bed shape of most birkenstocks.... Show more

Product Review
This is my first pair and I'm anxiously anticipating when they are broken in. I usually buy a cushy type of sandal/shoe but keep coming back to these for the cute style. It's the exact look I wanted I almost purchased Dansko sandals that look like Birks but are a cushier footbed. In the end, I preferred the color in the Birkenstock. I chose the mocha with the rose gold buckles. These will be my go to sandals this summer so I hope I chose right. I'll give 5 stars because I know they are quality but I'm still unsure how supportive or comfortable they will be wearing all day. Wish me luck!! Happy Birthday to me!! Btw, I'm 58. Old feet!! I wear size 8 or 39.... Show more

Sandal
At first they seem a bit on the flimsy side and for light duty. They're light in weight as if constructed from some vegetable extract plastic like material. However once I put them on I Ioved the customary arch support. My feet find themselves enveloped in the seemingly appropriate, comfortable, molded convex shape. They feel great to put on and walk around. I'm using them mostly for inside my house. I'm not sure how well they would survive as an outside, heavy duty use sandal. Mostly for the beach. the pool etc IMHO... Show more

Super Comfy!
Using these as my house slippers. The previous ones I had (also Birks) disintegrated after many years of use. I was so happy with them that I decided to get Birks again. The sippers are unmatched in quality (made in Germany, duh!) and are super comfortable. Note that there's about a week long break-in period and they will not feel great at first, so just be cognizant of that. One week later and they fit like a glove. Make sure you use the size chart provided on the Birkenstock website and actually take the time to measure your feet properly - it'll go a long way in making sure you'll be satisfied with them for many years to come....
