BEWARE - White Eva Birks Stain Due To Oxidation!
I purchased both the black and white Eva Waterproof Arizona Birkenstocks back in January. I figured the white would be a perfect sandal for special occasions when I want to wear something crisp. I have literally worn them twice this summer and today I noticed orange colored stains on the footbed of my white Evas. I just looked at other reviews and this does not seem to be uncommon unfortunately. My black ones have been worn almost every day this summer - no complaints. However, to spend $50 on white sandals that stained immediately due to oxidation, well that is disappointing. Since this was an in store purchase, I will bring them in to see what they say about a refund or replacement.... Show more

Birkenstock ArizonaEVA
It was recommended to me that I wear Birkenstock shoes due to some issues with my feet. I love the feeling of my soles in these shoes. I have them in several colors, and wish that I could wear them everyday. However, living in the Northeast, I don’t dare. I would recommend them to others. I somewhat like them on the smaller side. Meaning that I prefer to have very little space in the front and back. I like them as a fun summer shoe. The box says narrow, but they are wide enough for my wide feet.... Show more

Hella comfy and worth it!
I can’t rave enough about this Birks Arizona waterproof sandals. I recently wore this to a 3-day vacay in Niagara Falls Canada. We walked at least 11k steps in a day and I did not get a single blister or callus. It is mad comfy. I have wide feet with high arch. My shoes are typically 5.5 (yes I have small feet) so i ordered 5-5.5 and it fits great. I wore these badboys to the Hornblower boat ride (Canadian version of Maid of the mist), and it was perfect for it since it was waterproof. It was not slippery either because of the ridges at the bottom of the shoes. It dried on its own as we strolled around and did more activities. I know it is pricey for a waterproof sandal but it is worth it so stop debating and buy these!! I plan to buy another one when my current one ... I don't understand the HYPE
Got them in black. Have worn them frequently for a couple months, and within weeks the Birkenstock logo already faded off on the footbed. The material is so light but also cheap feeling. They gave me blisters under the straps after a couple hours of walking...I figured out that tightening the straps does help with comfort to minimize the friction when walking. I got these because I wanted an all black sandal from a brand I know and love. However, these won't last as long as the original leather version if you're tough on your shoes.... Show more

Lightweight and comfy summer sandal!
I literally just picked these up in Overland Park, KS with curbside pickup on a road trip. Bought a 38 and a 39 in Surf Green and kept my usual size of 39. I had ordered down a size based on reviews and at first I thought they were right til I stood up and realized the 39 fit better. I love the light color and comfy footbed without any need to break in. Color is as pictured. So happy they had these in the store and it was easy to return the size that didn’t fit. Super nice staff! As always, super happy with Nordstrom!... Show more

Love the arch support and they are light
Pretty sandals, very light and adjustable. I bought the blue color. IMO, they run kind of large - for reference, I bought the Size 5 and I normally wear size 6 in sandals. The size 6 also fit me, it just had extra room which was not a big issue. However, my husband says they’re true-to-size because he usually wears size 10, and the Birkenstocks’ size 10 fit him, and he preferred the larger size. It depends on preference.... Show more

My first Pair of Birkenstocks
As noted these Birkenstock Men's Arizona EVA sandals are my first pair and they did not disappoint. Frankly though upon arrival I wasn’t especially impressed and seriously considered returning them. Nevertheless, after wearing them just one day I’ve decided I’ll definitely keep them. I have narrow feet and the straps are almost too loose at first, I got size 46 which is definitely the right length smaller wouldn’t work. My recommendation is give them a day or so as they actually do seem to require a sort of break in period. They’re not as soft or rubbery as my Hoka Ora Recovery slides but just as comfortable in a different way and they stay on my feet better.... Show more

Nice 👍🏿
I ordered these sandals online earlier this month and when I got them I was surprised. Unfortunately, the color was not the same as pictured online. The ones I wanted were are dark navy color but who knows that could have been a color error. I'm going to keep them because I need them immediately for walking on hardwood floors and a quick dash here and there. To be rubber or plastic the quality is great. I think the soles will last for a long time and they are comfortable. After taking a picture of them for the survey they kinda look like they are dark navy, my opinion.... Show more

No Brainer
Great waterproof shoe! It has the same great footbed that we expect from Birkenstock. It is very light and washes clean. Perfect for the beach, gardening or every day wear. I owned my first pair for 3 years and am only buying another for a new color. My 1st pair do not look old but compared to my new pair, the footbed has broken in somewhat. Birk’s are made for a wider foot but the adjustable straps tighten them up. Size down if between sizes.... Show more

Not Bad
I've been searching for a lighter-weight alternative to the Croc sandals that have faithfully served me formany years. I stumbled upon these Birkenstocks at REI. Although I went to college during the cultural revolutionof the 1970s, I'm not a Birkenstock kind of guy. Despite this, I went ahead and purchased them anyway. I ordereda size medium in brown. I was pleasantly surprised that a pair of medium Birkenstocks weigh in at 8.8 ounces(249 g) on my scale versus 13.8 ounces (390 g) for my Crocs; almost a 40% weight difference. The Birkenstocksweight compares favorably to some sandals describing themselves as ultralight but which are heavier or lessrobust in their construction than the Birkenstocks. Now, to be totally "open kimono" in this review, the material ... MoreI've been searching for a lighter-weight alternative to the Croc sandals that have faithfully served me formany years. Now, to be totally "open kimono" in this review, the material usedin the construction of the Birkenstocks is harder and more rigid than that used in the manufacture of my Crocsand I find them to be slightly less comfortable. With that said, however, I can go with a little less comfort in exchangefor a 40% reduction in weight. Now all I need to compliment my Birkenstocks is a nice tie-dyed hoodie, a fewGrateful Dead tunes, and a hand full of granola bars.... Show more
