with. I typically wear size 8/8.5 and prefer wide shoes due to my bunions. While these are more narrow compared to my Tory Birch clogs, they still feel ok with and without
socks on. It hasn't bothered my bunions yet! I definitely recommend the Elemental Blue!

I've had my eyes on the Bostons for a while and decided to finally get a pair...in Elemental Blue! They look so good in person and the color tone is surprisingly easy to style with. I typically wear size 8/8.5 and prefer wide shoes due to my bunions. While these are more narrow compared to my Tory Birch clogs, they still feel ok with and without socks on. It hasn't bothered my bunions yet! I definitely recommend the Elemental Blue!

Every single person who buys anything real leather should also have a waterproof & cleaning kit. Trust me! Scotch guard will add years to these. Also, if you are new to Birks, FYI: they will also re-sole your favorite shoe, just sent them an email. Keep the box, plus it's contents. These clogs are so comfortable! It took a couple tries to get my hands on the taupe color, but now that I have them, I don’t want to take them off. I have to admit that I used to make fun of Birkenstocks. I honestly never thought that I would own a pair until I recently started getting backaches (from walking around barefoot so much during the pandemic) and I came across an article discussing how beneficial these shoes were for alleviating back pain. That piqued my interest so I started researching them online and I kept seeing all kinds of celebrities wearing them. And I have to say, they started to grow on me and soon they became one of those things that you find "ugly-cute". After picking up my first pair of Birks in the Arizona style, I was in love. They were super soft and comfortable right out of the box.For reference, I normally wear a size 6 - 61/2 in shoes and in Birks, I wear a size 36. My shoes are normally medium in width. I purchased these clogs in my normal Birks size and they fit perfectly. I recently wore them when traveling so I put on a pair of socks. I had to loosen the buckle one notch for a comfortable fit with socks. They were so soft and cozy. I had no pain in my feet or back when I stood around for long periods of time or when walking all over the airport. I was really happy that my Birks were super comfy. I really love these clogs. I wear them with jeans and even leggings sometimes.

I came into the store at around 5pm to try them on. I read on birkenstock website is better to measure your feet for the perfect fit at the end of the day because your feet have expanded. So I came into the store to try them one and get the right size. I'm usually between sizes depending the shoe brand, but it's 7 1/2 or 8. The associate brought me a 37 and I told him it felt tight but he insisted it looked right. He brought me the 38 but he stated my heel was not at close to the wedge and looked big. So I went with the 37. Bad idea! My right foot starter to hurt and I couldn't keep walking in them. I had to return them. Bummed because I really wanted to love them and hear only good things about them.

I ordered in store and the order was shipped from Cincinnati. Shipping was fast yet I was sent two different size shoes. The left a larger size and the right was my size. I wear an 7.5-8 and the 39 was perfect for me with no extra space in the back of the shoe. It was comfortable with soft suede and while I had to return due to the shipping stores error, I will reorder. Just not from Nordstrom as they are now sold out in my size. I do suggest trying the shoe on, as they run small and ever so slightly wide in my opinion.

Point being, the size calculator is way off!Determined not to give up, I went to a local Birk store that had the Boston in oil leather (iron grey) for woman in a 36 narrow that addressed many of the issues I had with the suede. The leather is far more structured. It isn’t floppy, it stays open and is truly slip in and out ready. The fit seems slightly tighter too and I can go down to the 2nd hole when wearing a thin sock. While the leather will eventually stretch too, I’m confident that it will take longer and be much less significant than the suede. I’d also bet money that the oil leather will look far better a year from now than the taupe suede. (Out of the box, the look of the suede wins but I’m interested in longevity.)Both materials have the amazing Birkenstock footbed that are truly heaven on my sore, almost flat, aging feet. The soft footbed is comfortable out of the box but I’ll probably seek the original footbed for my next pair as I think the original will be better over time as well.I would love to see Nordstrom get more leather options for women in the future as I’m already wanting more colors. Sorry I have to return the suede.

Have these for a couple on months. Fit great, have worn them here and there. Suede stretches out more each time i wear them. Have moved the buckle up several times, no holes left to move to. Shoes literally fall off as I'm walking they are so stretched out. I have several other pairs of Birks and this has not been an issue, same size. They can not even be worn at this point and I can not return them because they have been worn. Just short of $200 beans down the drain!

My first Birkenstock order - I ordered my usual shoe size and they fit perfectly. However, the material didn’t look new, they were both worn at the big toe and one of them had a long scratch across the top. Both shoes looked like they had been on display. I saw that someone else had written that their shoes didn’t look good either, but I’d hoped my purchase would be different. These will be going back. I decided to buy from the Birkenstock website and they look brand new.
