I purchased these shoes for my daughter for her birthday. I've not given them to her yet as her birthday is still ahead. I'm very pleased that the shoes arrived much earlier than expected. I'm sure she'll love them. Birkenstocks are always great. As a story....back when I was about 13 years old one of my aunts had a business taking tourists to Switzerland. When she came home one time, she was wearing Birkenstock Arizona sandals. I clearly remember telling her that those were the ugliest shoes I'd ever seen. She said everyone in Europe wore them and they were great shoes. Fast forward about 25 years when my daughters were in school. Everyone wanted Birkenstocks. I've always wanted these, but the taupe were super popular in the 90's. Idk why these were a bit tight, but I ordered the Arizona's in taupe-in the exact same size, and they are a little bit big. Weird. Back in the day, Birks were always true to size, but this generation- they decided to add half sizes & it kinda threw me off. I've always worn a 37. My US size ranges from a 6.5-7.5. If I would've purchased these from a local store, I'd have gone up a size (bc of socks in winter/they DO stretch after a while) OR exchanged them for a larger size. Maybe I got a pair of mis-sized clogs, which would be very Un-Birkenstock-like, ya know? I know the price is outrageous, BUT, they'll last you forever. If F'hut didn't carry these, I wouldn't be able to afford them. Honestly, ... MoreI've always wanted these, but the taupe were super popular in the 90's. Every single person who buys anything real leather should also have a waterproof & cleaning kit. Trust me! Scotch guard will add years to these. Also, if you are new to Birks, FYI: they will also re-sole your favorite shoe, just sent them an email. Keep the box, plus it's contents. If you ever wanna re-sell them, having the OG box & stuff will get you more money. Thanks Fingerhut :) Thank you to anyone for reading and I apologize it was so long.

I have chronic plantar fasciitis, which unfortunately lets me know pretty quickly which shoes are going to work for me. I've got theories, but it doesn't really matter why -- Birkenstocks are the one brand that reliably never give me ANY foot pain. I wear the Arizona's all summer, but this year I decided to get the clogs so I could extend my "sandal season" into the fall/winter a bit more. Any worries I had vanished instantly -- the clogs are comfortable and durable -- I'm not gonna lie, I've been wearing them all winter.Bonus points for REI - I bought them one day, and decided to exchange sizes the next. Not only was it super easy, they had a sale going on for members and they applied a 20% off without me even asking for it.

I have always heard about how comfortable and healthy Clogs are. I have also been advised that Birkenstock is one of the most preferred brands but can run pricey. After much thought and deliberation, I decided to go ahead and get a pair in Habana Oiled Leather. I am a size 12 regular and ordered the 45 EUD US 12-12.5. After receiving them very quickly, 24hrs (On Thanksgiving nonetheless) I finally tried them on. Based on my research and the advice I received from professionals, I guess I thought my feet would feel better than ever. Well...The first thing I noticed was aside from how nice the color was is that although the length is good, the toe-box area seems to be too low and feels like it is pushing down on my big toe. I am hopeful that this will change with use, but for now it is very uncomfortable and very limiting to how long I can keep these on. The next thing I noticed is that as nice as the color is, if anything drips on it whether it's water, soap, coffee, tea, or anything, it leaves unsightly stains on the shoe which are not easy to clean.I do hope that as I spend more times wearing these, my experience will improve, but for now, I can't recommend, especially not at the current price point.
Back in the day (10 years ago) you had to break these bad boys in before they were comfortable to wear. Super surprised when I bought a pair this year and they were immediately comfy. They did change the design of the shoe on the inside where your toes are at which I noticed right away. I thought I wouldn't like how that felt on my toes, but my feet made a quick adjustment after a couple wears and its not a concern anymore.I am a 9.5 in womens sneakers and a 10 in heels. I purchased a size 10 (a 41 in European measurements), which is an exact fit. Buy them! So stylish and can be worn with anything. I love my birkies!
I had been eyeballing there for a while but they were out of stock in my size. I snatched them up as soon ad they became available. I absolutely love my birkinstock sandles, so I had high hopes for these. They fit great, true to size. They seem comfortable, although I haven't worn them out yet. My issue is the quality. For shoes that cost almost $160 I expect them to be pristine. The pair I got are not. The suede has a scuff mark on the one shoe and what seems to be some sloppy glue work on both of them. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep them yet. I expect more from the brand and for that price point.
My ache runners feet need these shoes but not in suede. I love the look of the taupe suede, however the suede is very soft and floppy. The clogs collapse when your foot is not inside. Not quite as slip-in friendly as I hoped. More importantly, I fear the soft suede will stretch beyond wear and light color will quickly look grungy. I do not intend to buy a new pair every year. I want a pair that will last. For context, I ordered a 36 narrow, the smallest size available. According to Birkenstocks’s fit calculator. measuring my feet in mm, I should have ordered a 37 regular/wide size. However, I’ve been wearing 36 Arizonas for years on my 6-6.5 US size feet. The suede Boston 36 Narrow fit perfect in length BUT they were slightly too wide for my very average feet. I ... MoreMy ache runners feet need these shoes but not in suede. The suede Boston 36 Narrow fit perfect in length BUT they were slightly too wide for my very average feet. I adjusted the buckle to the tightest hole to get a snug, perfect fit. No doubt the soft suede will stretch with wear making the shoes completely unwearable since the buckle has no more holes left. Point being, the size calculator is way off!Determined not to give up, I went to a local Birk store that had the Boston in oil leather (iron grey) for woman in a 36 narrow that addressed many of the issues I had with the suede. The leather is far more structured. It isn’t floppy, it stays open and is truly slip in and out ready. The fit seems slightly tighter too and I can go down to the 2nd hole when wearing a thin sock. While the leather will eventually stretch too, I’m confident that it will take longer and be much less significant than the suede. I’d also bet money that the oil leather will look far better a year from now than the taupe suede. (Out of the box, the look of the suede wins but I’m interested in longevity.)Both materials have the amazing Birkenstock footbed that are truly heaven on my sore, almost flat, aging feet. The soft footbed is comfortable out of the box but I’ll probably seek the original footbed for my next pair as I think the original will be better over time as well.I would love to see Nordstrom get more leather options for women in the future as I’m already wanting more colors. Sorry I have to return the suede.
These clogs seem to be sold out everywhere, so I was extremely happy to see that they're available here in most sizes! Received these clogs about a week ago and wore them on a road trip the following day where there was a lot of walking involved and they were extremely comfortable. It felt like there was hardly a breaking-in period necessary for these clogs! They arrived in perfect condition as well. I am a size 5.5/6, so I was between the decision of ordering the 5/5.5 or the 6/6.5 but I decided to go with the 6/6.5 as some reviews said they ran small. I have narrow feet so even with socks I noticed that they were about 3/4 an inch too big, but they don't feel uncomfortable and the buckle can be adjusted to help as well. It's all an appearance preference. If you are between two sizes and have wider feet, I would suggest to opt for the larger size. If you have narrow feet, they are very much true to size! Overall I highly recommend these clogs, I've been wearing them all week and they're the perfect everyday shoe!
Loved, but here is the thing when you're a 9.5 dealing in whole sizes. Being that they are roomy shoes, I hoped the size 9 would fit perfectly; it did not. It was just short. The size 10 was unavailable in the store. I went online and chose the size per Macy's size recommendation options. I received a 41. I was not 100% happy as they felt a bit loose, and one of my feet is slightly smaller so the shoe felt bigger on that foot. There was clearly about one inch of space left behind. I tried to convince myself that I was going to wear them with socks & needed the extra space. I decided to wait & shop around. I ordered a pair by Quince in a size 9 as reviews recommended to size down. They were perfect (run a little wider), but I wanted Birkenstocks. By chance, I walked right in front of a Birkenstock store where I explained my 9.5 size dilemma. I was brought a size 10 in both the Boston Suede and the Boston Shearling (furry inside). They were both perfect!
The good part of this review first: I love these clogs, the best and so comfy- you can’t go wrong with the Bostons. Everyone should have one. Now for the bad (kinda) part which is about Office: When it’s not display shoes, the quality is good. I previously went for the black and it was awful condition - my review is on the page. I will still give 5 starts bc this is about the Taupe and not the others I received but my God, please Office stop including display as stock, improve your stock count for your physical stores and plssssss let your staff not offer display when they know it is. Customers are not idiots x
