It’s official, I’m absolutely obsessed.I recently purchased the big gold buckle Madrid in cognac and shiny black, and they were incredibly comfortable. I received tons of compliments too! So I decided to order the Bostons and the shoe gods were with me that night, because I ordered them in Latte Cream. They are the perfect nude/neutral color, and they are truly the most comfy shoe I’ve ever worn. I tried to send the link to my sister, but they sold out in this color. I highly recommend these shoes! You are going to love them!

I wish I could provide a picture of the product I received from Macy. The shoe came in a beat up box for one and then to top off the shoes looked like they have been worn for years no exaggeration. They were extremely scuffed up and faded mind you this was my second time ordering them because the first pair showed up the same. When the first pair were returned the cashier blamed the 3rd party vendor finish line. Sooooo order at your own risk good luck!

Back in the day (10 years ago) you had to break these bad boys in before they were comfortable to wear. Super surprised when I bought a pair this year and they were immediately comfy. They did change the design of the shoe on the inside where your toes are at which I noticed right away. I thought I wouldn't like how that felt on my toes, but my feet made a quick adjustment after a couple wears and its not a concern anymore.I am a 9.5 in womens sneakers and a 10 in heels. I purchased a size 10 (a 41 in European measurements), which is an exact fit. Buy them! So stylish and can be worn with anything. I love my birkies!

These clogs are so comfortable! It took a couple tries to get my hands on the taupe color, but now that I have them, I don’t want to take them off. I bought the black but returned them because they did rub off the black color on my feet a bit.Like other reviewers said, these bring me back to my college days when I wore my Birkenstock Boston’s so much that I eventually had to throw them out.I typically wear a 8 1/2 in flats or a 9 in boots, but the 39 worked out for me. The 40 was too big. Also, they stretch a little, so if they’re tight at first, wear them around the house and they’ll conform to your feet.If you see these comfy clogs in your size on the Nordy website, snap them up! I had been eyeballing there for a while but they were out of stock in my size. I snatched them up as soon ad they became available. I absolutely love my birkinstock sandles, so I had high hopes for these. They fit great, true to size. They seem comfortable, although I haven't worn them out yet. My issue is the quality. For shoes that cost almost $160 I expect them to be pristine. The pair I got are not. The suede has a scuff mark on the one shoe and what seems to be some sloppy glue work on both of them. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep them yet. I expect more from the brand and for that price point.
My ache runners feet need these shoes but not in suede. I love the look of the taupe suede, however the suede is very soft and floppy. The clogs collapse when your foot is not inside. Not quite as slip-in friendly as I hoped. More importantly, I fear the soft suede will stretch beyond wear and light color will quickly look grungy. I do not intend to buy a new pair every year. I want a pair that will last. For context, I ordered a 36 narrow, the smallest size available. According to Birkenstocks’s fit calculator. measuring my feet in mm, I should have ordered a 37 regular/wide size. However, I’ve been wearing 36 Arizonas for years on my 6-6.5 US size feet. The suede Boston 36 Narrow fit perfect in length BUT they were slightly too wide for my very average feet. I ... MoreMy ache runners feet need these shoes but not in suede. The suede Boston 36 Narrow fit perfect in length BUT they were slightly too wide for my very average feet. I adjusted the buckle to the tightest hole to get a snug, perfect fit. No doubt the soft suede will stretch with wear making the shoes completely unwearable since the buckle has no more holes left. Point being, the size calculator is way off!Determined not to give up, I went to a local Birk store that had the Boston in oil leather (iron grey) for woman in a 36 narrow that addressed many of the issues I had with the suede. The leather is far more structured. It isn’t floppy, it stays open and is truly slip in and out ready. The fit seems slightly tighter too and I can go down to the 2nd hole when wearing a thin sock. While the leather will eventually stretch too, I’m confident that it will take longer and be much less significant than the suede. I’d also bet money that the oil leather will look far better a year from now than the taupe suede. (Out of the box, the look of the suede wins but I’m interested in longevity.)Both materials have the amazing Birkenstock footbed that are truly heaven on my sore, almost flat, aging feet. The soft footbed is comfortable out of the box but I’ll probably seek the original footbed for my next pair as I think the original will be better over time as well.I would love to see Nordstrom get more leather options for women in the future as I’m already wanting more colors. Sorry I have to return the suede.
Loved, but here is the thing when you're a 9.5 dealing in whole sizes. Being that they are roomy shoes, I hoped the size 9 would fit perfectly; it did not. It was just short. The size 10 was unavailable in the store. I went online and chose the size per Macy's size recommendation options. I received a 41. I was not 100% happy as they felt a bit loose, and one of my feet is slightly smaller so the shoe felt bigger on that foot. There was clearly about one inch of space left behind. I tried to convince myself that I was going to wear them with socks & needed the extra space. I decided to wait & shop around. I ordered a pair by Quince in a size 9 as reviews recommended to size down. They were perfect (run a little wider), but I wanted Birkenstocks. I ordered a pair by Quince in a size 9 as reviews recommended to size down. They were perfect (run a little wider), but I wanted Birkenstocks. By chance, I walked right in front of a Birkenstock store where I explained my 9.5 size dilemma. I was brought a size 10 in both the Boston Suede and the Boston Shearling (furry inside). They were both perfect!
Headline says it all. Third time wearing them, the button on the side snapped completely off. I reattached them, and they broke again. This happened with normal walking around in my classroom. Wasn’t doing anything crazy. I should be able to walk without shoes breaking within two weeks of having them. Luckily I’m still within the return window so these will be going back, and I will continue my search for comfortable shoes to wear to work smh.
My first Birkenstock order - I ordered my usual shoe size and they fit perfectly. However, the material didn’t look new, they were both worn at the big toe and one of them had a long scratch across the top. Both shoes looked like they had been on display. I saw that someone else had written that their shoes didn’t look good either, but I’d hoped my purchase would be different. These will be going back. I decided to buy from the Birkenstock website and they look brand new.
I love these clogs so much. Wore them in high school and I’m glad they’re back in style.I will say, they fun small. I’m usually a 8.5 so I ordered a size 39. I’d say the toe box is not true problem, but the actual length of the shoe. My heel touched right at the edge without socks. Ended up sizing up to a 40 for a better fit. I know they will loosen up as the leather wears. However, in my case, i prefer they look a tad big than my heel hanging out.
