Cozy Birks
Love these shoes! I am currently using them for supportive slippers for wearing around the house. I need the extra support of the Birkenstock footbed. Also, the stone color is a lovely shade of Dove gray, and the shearling lining is super cozy and warm. One point I need to express is I needed to order a size larger. Originally ordered a 39 which is what I wear in a Mephisto, when I received the 39, they were snug, and the arch was slightly off. I ordered a 40 and they were a perfect fit.... Show more

Excellent comfort and support
I’m normally an 8 1/2 Medium, sometimes an 8, and generally a 39 in Birks. The 39 was just right here. For reference, with the Mayari style, which I love, I go with a 38, as the 39 is a bit too long. The narrow works better for me in Birks (what the box says is sometimes different than the description; regular and narrow can mean the same). These are shoes, not slippers. I’m using them as house shoes, which helps with posture and back discomfort. The lining keeps my feet warm. I can get at least 10 years out of these, so the cost is absolutely worth it.... Show more

Great shoes
I have had Birkenstock Boston Shearling's before; they really help my feet as well as looking great. I literally wore them out after wearing them continuously for about four years. Unfortunately when I bought a new pair at a great price from Flannels, I didn't look properly at description (as I knew what they were like) and so didn't realise they were narrow fit. I've had to return them. Flannels have been great about it, fantastic customer service, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these shoes - just give yourself time to wear them in.... Show more

Heavenly!
I got these in the brown, and I always thought I had wide feet, so I was a little concerned because everybody says it’s really narrow. But it fits perfectly for me, it does not feel too narrow. These are extremely extremely comfortable. I’ve always heard that Birks are good for plantar fasciitis, but they’ve always felt too hard and stiff, so I never liked them. These ones however, because of shearling, are so soft and comfortable. I want to buy a second pair right away! I normally wear an 8 1/2 in shoes, so I bought this in a 9, and it’s perfect... Iffy but okay
First ordered tan in my normal Birkenstock 7-7.5 size. It was too small, heel was essentially at the very edge. Returned for the black in 8-8.5. The fit is still snug (I’m a true 7.5) but manageable. I tried the shoes in to walk around in the house and they definitely left black from the fur on my heels so I have only worn with socks at this point. I think the fur may make the fit smaller/more narrow. I kept the shoe but it’s honestly not the best feeling when walking long distances. I’m guess it may be better if I wore them without the socks but then my feet would be black. I kept them but still iffy.... Show more

Not my glass slipper
Let me start by saying that I LOVE Birkenstocks — or at least, I’ve historically loved Birks. I have many pairs of their sandals, and I am solidly a size 37 in all — we’re talking Cinderella, perfect fit, foot nirvana.I ordered these in an 37 without a second thought and eagerly awaited the arrival of what I thought would be the perfect winter Birk. Cue the disappointment.First, the color is off — or my expectations were. I expected them to be similar to chestnut Uggs. Not. Even. Close. And the suede itself is very rough and edgy. But onto the fit. These are not my glass slippers of yore. These are stiff, clunky, narrow and feel incredibly cheap. I have flat, narrow feet so for a shoe to be narrow for me, it’s REALLY narrow. And the sole just didn’t have that ... MoreLet me start by saying that I LOVE Birkenstocks — or at least, I’ve historically loved Birks. And the sole just didn’t have that hug-your-foot feeling that my other Birks had right out of the box — even the lower end waterproof Birks I bought for the beach feel more substantial. These shoes were a miss for me overall — they just didn’t fit correctly. And if this was a blindfolded fit test, I never would have guessed they were Birks. I’m hoping these issues are limited to the shearling/clog versions and not a sign of what’s to come with the summer sandals.... Show more

Shearling lined Boston clogs
I have the Gizah sandals in 39 regular width but i’m usually a size 9. Luckily I ordered the 40 in these and they fit perfectly…possibly a bit snug if I add socks. Length was just right…maybe the shearling lining reduces the space a bit. These clogs are very soft and comfortable and I look forward to wearing them. Grey color is great. I waterproofed them with a spray made for suede before wearing.I was only upset about the length of time & lack of updates regarding shipping. Bloomingdales shipped them all the way from California(I’m on the East coast), but they were well packed and in perfect condition. Mine were not on sale.... Show more

So great for fall/winter!
In my case, I sized up one size because I sometimes wear socks with my Stocks. If I didn’t wear socks, I would have stayed with a size 39 (I sized up to a 40 and kept the larger size). I wear a size 39 in my regular Birkenstock Boston’s, without the shearling, and they fit perfectly. In the size 39 with the shearling, my heel was right on the edge, but with socks they fell over the edge, so I’m returning the 39’s.These are very comfortable clogs! I have Ugg slippers too, but these provide much more support when I stand at my desk while working from home.I’m going to recommend these to my mom and sister that have foot and knee pain because these are just so much more supportive than Uggs.If you see these comfy clogs in the size and color you want, I recommend ... So ugly they’re cute!
Love these white Bostons with the shearling. Have had a pair of grey Arizonas for a few years that I never want to take off but figured I needed closed toes for fall/winter. I am a size 7 and wesr 38 in Birkenstocks, and the fit on these is perfect. With the shearling the fit is a bit snug at first but they quickly soften up and mold to your foot and now I never want to take them off. I also ordered the protection/cleaning kit from Birkenstock and sprayed them with protectant since the white suede will be prone to getting marked up and dirty pretty easily. I’ve always thought Boston’s were so ugly but now I think they are adorable and I love these shoes.... Show more

These are amazing
I have long worn Ugg slippers and loved them, so I wasn't sure what to expect with these Birks. I *LOVE* them and I wear them so much more than I thought I would. I don't think I'm that old at 45, but having the foot support of a Birkenstock combined with the warmth of a slipper is amazing for doing things around the house. I physically feel better wearing them than my Uggs, a brand I have loyally worn for almost 20 years. Also: I wasn't sure if I should get my normal size Birkenstock or go up a size because of the shearling lining. I went with my normal size and it works even if I wear socks with them.... Show more
