Can’t have enuf Birks
This is the fourth pair of Birkenstocks Gizeh sandals I’ve bought. Usually, I buy the Arizona style because the adjustable buckles work better for my short wide foot. But, the footbed is wide enough in the Gizeh and the adjustable buckle adjusts enough to fit my feet. I will agree with those who have said the toe piece can be uncomfortable. Of the four pair I have, only one of them, and it’s not the white one that I just bought, rubs a blister in between my toes but just on one foot. So I know I have to wear a Band-Aid between the toes if I’m wearing that pair of sandals. Overall, this is a perfect summer shoe.... Show more

Disappointed
Nothing beats a Birkenstock shoe bed. That’s where the three stars come in. When it comes to comfort, none can compare… The only reason, for the three stars is simply, because I was highly disappointed. When I arrived at the store for pick up, I discovered it was entirely plastic and not leather material as I was used to. However, it’s leather impressions did make it look like leather. I had to return on the spot. And look to order from another site for genuine, leather, same style.... Show more

First Time Birks
I bought these Mother’s Day weekend, a gift from my husband! They are so pretty and fit my feet so well. I was looking for a sandal that would allow my big toe to be free and these fit the bill. A warning… these take commitment to get used to. I read many articles about this sandal as it’s my first time wearing Birks. The toe piece is rigid and I almost returned them because of it. However, I persevered and I hardly notice it now. I learned it can take some people up to a month to fully break in this style sandal! They are beautifully made and look nice with many outfits.... Great pair
I gave in and bought this Birk due to the recent heatwave here in UK. Plus it’s summer holiday and I need a nee pair of slippers. This pair didnt disappoint. After the initial breaking in, theyre comfortable. I now wear them everywear and is already thinking of buying the Arizona one.It just runs small though and narrow. Which is just fine with me because I’ve got narrow feet. And good thing I read the reviews so I bought a size larger.... Show more

Great shop with sole
My 1st time ordering at The Hut. A perfect purchase from start to finish. With a little added newbie voucher code bonus. They kept me up dated, and the sandals were shipped out fast. For a speedy next day delivery. The sandals were just as I remember. Comfy cork sole. With a leather Y top upper and a buckle clasp closing. The toe post has not given me any blisters so that's a bonus. I would definitely recommend both the sandals and The Hut for a great buy.... Show more

love them
I always got the mountain sole brand which I love. I wanted to try the real deal but not with the real price tag. These are a great deal and look dressier than the other brand. I got the white/Pearl color and it’s really pretty. I was worried it would be too light of a shade for me and my translucent skin but it’s really pretty. I normally wear a 7.5 shoe and lean more towards the size 8 but went with the 38. Glad I did. I still have wiggle room. I might even been able to do a size smaller. Not too bad of break in time. My feet haven’t hurt at all and no noise either. Overall pleased with them.... Show more

Most uncomfortable sandals ever
I bought these a few weeks before my trip to Vegas. After reading how Birkenstocks are so comfortable, I bought my first pair hoping they would make walking so much wouldn't be so painful. I started breakout them in as soon as I got them. The part that's in between your toes is a hard plastic piece that never softened up. I put moleskin on the plastic part hoping that would help. It didn't. It got to the point where just putting my feet in them hurt so bad. Needless to say, I wasn't able to use them for my trip and had to buy a new pair of sandals the day before I left for Vegas. Now I question whether I buy a different pair of sandals from them because this was such a painful experience.... Show more

Product Review
Birkenstocks are fantastic shoes to wear! I had plantar fasciitis and I tried many different shoes and spent a lot of money. However, I began wearing Birkenstock shoes and they eased my foot pain! Birkenstocks are the shoes I wear daily. They come in a variety of shoes (I.e. sandals, boots, sneakers, heels, wedges, etc.). I have many of them and they help my feet tremendously! I also was flat footed but after wearing Birkenstocks for several years, I have an arch now! Very trendy and I'm grateful for Birkenstock shoes!!... Show more

Really Disappointed In Birkenstock
I’ve never been more disappointed in a pair of Birkenstocks. They were great in terms of foot/arch support, as you’d expect from Birkenstock. But these are “flip flop”-style sandals with a piece between your toes. That piece is made from SOLID plastic. I’m talking solid as a rock!! With most flip flop sandals of this nature, that piece between the toes have at least some flexibility & move with your foot. These do not. AT ALL!! With every step I took (just around my house) it felt like I was jamming the part between my toes into a pole. I mean— did anyone even TRY these before deciding to sell them?? They’re horrible! I even tried to tighten the buckle more to keep my foot from moving as much but nothing helped. These will be returned pronto. My only regret is that ... Squeaky Squeaky
First off, I love how comfortable the footbed is on these. Unlike the cork bed of regular Birks I didn’t find I needed to break these in - they’re comfortable from the start. The extra large material over the toes is a little annoying. I actually thought I would return these when I first put them on because of this piece; however, I didn’t notice it much as the day went on.The main downfall with these shoes is their incredibly loud squeaking. They didn’t make any noise when I first put them on but as the day wore on they got loud. Embarrassingly so, in fact. And just for reference, they never got wet…this was just typical walking throughout my day. While this isn’t a deal breaker for me it does mean I will likely only be using them as pool slides from here on ... MoreFirst off, I love how comfortable the footbed is on these. I’m usually between a 9-9.5; however, I always size down with this brand for best positioning/support.... Show more
