I wanted to love this vacuum. When it came, I read the instructions and tested out my ability to disassemble and reassemble the components, and purchased the recommended solution to use with the wet function. The front cover would not click in over the roller. Kept trying, and I thought I had it fixed, so I started dry vacuuming. Nothing was being pulled in. I tried repositioning the parts and snapping them into place again. Still did not work. Came back to it a few days later to try again. After cleaning the waste canister filter again, repositioning it and the roller, and filling the water tank, it would not vacuum or mop effectively at all.This product does not work and has poor construction and design. All the cleaning/putting back together was done per the instruction booklet. The button to activate the water is on the handle that you grip for either function; you cannot avoid hitting it when you are trying to dry vacuum. If you leave any water in the tank at all, it saturates the roller and pushes dirty water around.

There are times when I am very glad I have this, and I will preface this review with the fact that I am hard on vacuums. I have a large, very fluffy dog and it takes a lot to keep the house clean. That being said, I have a few comments to make. First, this vacuum is a pain to clean and you HAVE to clean it every time you use it (even if you're cleaning 2sq ft of crumbs) because otherwise it becomes smelly or gets clogged and water shoots out all over your floor. Sometimes mine is smelly after being cleaned and all the parts set out separately to dry. Next, the suction is not what I had hoped it would be. Lastly, I hate this thing on the tile in my bathroom. It just pushes dirt into the grout lines and cleans nothing. Overall, I am disappointed.Maybe I really am asking too much, but I have borrowed other people's non-wet vacuums and they do not have that issue.

This vacume is absolutely terrible. It works great for 5 minutes, then gets clogged. You have to thoroughly clean every crevice multiple times throughout vacuuming one room for it to work correctly. God forbid you use the mop feature. You must make sure it is 120% dry after use - which means after cleaning every crevice of the machine and filter, meaning; vacume parts spread all out for two days... just then, if you are LUCKY it won't smell like mildew the next time you use it. I often find myself having to revisit the same spot to pick up missed dirt when vacuuming.. it's like I'm pushing dirt around. I stopped using this for the mop feature and now solely use it for a vacume due to the mildew nonsense... oh and I have purchased a package of replacement filters so ... MoreThis vacume is absolutely terrible. I expected to plug in the vacuum, let it spray some soapy water on the floor, give it a little scrub, and squeegie it mostly dry. I expect stubborn messes to require a couple passes.I did NOT expect to spend more time cleaning the vacuum than cleaning the floor. When I first plug it in, I run the brush head for 3 seconds as specified in the instructions. Then I start mopping the floors. Typically I see no water on the floors at all, the pickup tank is nearly dry, the dust bin is full, and the water tank is empty. So I empty the tank, rinse it out real good, then clean it using the clean cycle. If I could return it I would. For future reference I'll remember that if it sounds too good to be true it probably is.Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a person I hated.

Who in their right mind would design a pet pro vacuum and not include a detachable hose to get into the small spaces. This renders it absolutely useless for stairs, smalls areas under furniture, corners, etc. •It has a mode to translation from hard floor to rug. The problem with this is you can not do it after using the mop feature. The roller gets completely soaked so you will get cleaning solution on your carpet or rug. Overall a terrible design from start to finish. I would not recommend this vacuum for anyone who has pets. Returning this and going back to the traditional vacuum and swifter mop.

I’ve realized that every mop vacuum I’ve gotten did not work as expected, and as soon as you use the mop, and then try to use the vacuum after that, the water clogged it, and made it less efficient than if I were to have just vacuumed and then mopped myself. It was a mess to clean up after mopping, and now it just sits in my closet because I can’t bring myself to trash it, even though it definitely needs it. Our home is a combo of wood and premium linoleum plank, with area rugs. This mop does fine on the linoleum and area rugs to vacuum and refresh them. Its sadly horrible on the wood. Its blotchy and uneven, I dont feel like the brushes do much for any dirt unless it can be vacuumed up. Overall I wouldnt recommend to anyone with wood if you like a nice clean floor before waxing. The cleaning cycle and cleaning the unit is easy, although I do not use the chemicals included.Background, 2 dogs, kids and an active lifestyle. Ive used this unit for the past 6 weeks, at least once a week. Draw back is it doesn’t pick up everything when vacuuming. I have to go over and over an area, often picking up hair by hand. Now the mop works great for the first few feet. Then it leaves streaks of dirt, so I have to follow behind with a microfiber mop. I also find myself totally cleaning the entire machine a minimum of 4-5 times doing just the downstairs. I found turning the machine upside down, the bottom collects “mud” from the wet dirt being picked up. So this machine is not perfect, but it’s the best one I’ve purchased. Will only buy Bissell. This is the biggest waste of money ever and I find it incredibly ironic that it is directed towards pets because this thing does not stand a chance against pet hair. I bought this vacuum in college and used it very minimally as one could imagine. Fast forward to graduating college and buying a house, we were using this thing once a week. It worked as well the first week we used it in the house as it did when we threw it in the trash - where it belonged all along! Whatever you do, DO NOT let the high star rating fool you into buying this product.
