I bought Bissell because I have used them before (mains powered) and found them good. This stick vacuum is disappointing. It has poor suction and has trouble picking up cat litter. It is awkward to pull apart if you want to use the wand. It would be so much better if it could stand on its own. The recharging station is difficult to remove the vacuum from and when it needfs recharging it has to be wiggled to make sure the connection is made. Overall, very disappointing.

I have purchased Bissell vacuum cleaners previously and been pleased with them. However, the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Stick Vacuum 2907F is a real disappointment. It has trouble sucking up cat litter and just cleaning the floor in general. The suction is below average. Pulling it apart to use the wand or the hand held short version is difficult, especially if you have arthritis. The fact that it can not stand on it's own really is a design fault. Finally, disengaging it from the charging station on the wall is a nightmare. I ended up pulling the whole thing off the wall trying to disengage it. The vacuum now sits at the back of my cupborad and I have gone back to my corded machine. A waste of money.

For the price of it, this vacuum is amazing! It is user friendly, does a wonderful job (better then my Dyson ball). We needed something cordless for tiles and clean ups on the fly, but now this has become our go to for all vacuuming needs. Definitely recommend.

Love the tangle free suction of hair. Does a very good job on tiles, floorboards and thin carpets. I cleaned 5 large rooms on default mode and am able to do that twice before needing to recharge. Very sturdy build but slightly heavy on the hand. Far better than the many cheap models out there. At a little over $300, it’s money well spent. Definitely recommend this chargeable, cordless stick vacuum
It's ok. Suction is quite low - it won't pick up cat litter from my hardwood floors, for example. It also won't remove all the sand from underneath the doormat, and I have to go back in with a microfibre cloth to wipe up the remainder. It could do with an upholstery attachment, too. However, it does do well with pet hair, from both carpet and hard floors. Good for use alongside my old fashioned vacuum.
This is a good price for the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Stick Vacuum. Fairly light to use a great suction. Only issue I had was that it does not stand upright on its own, you need to lay it on a flat surface to remove the dust bucket and to change the accessories, plus the battery does not last long (we have a big house with floor boards and tiles) so I just vacuum on one day, recharge it and do the rest the next day. Overall I really like it.
Great vacuum cleaner for the price. I moved from a Dyson V11, which only lasted 3 years to this and don't notice much of a difference. The Bissell is better in that you can empty the dustbin without having to remove the wand (which was annoying with the Dyson) and that there is a power button, no trigger that you have to hold down constantly. The only thing is that the battery doesn't last quite as long, but not an issue for me.
It is a really good vacuum cleaner, a little bit heavier than I thought but being cordless is fantastic. Just did the back verandah, which is carpeted with outdoor/marine carpet, picked up so much dog hair compared to the other vacuum cleaner. An excellent product.
My last vacuum was a Dyson v6, so the major difference between the two would be the weight. The Bissell is 2x heavier than the Dyson, which makes it a workout whenever I'm trying to clean the stairs. Pros for the Bissell would be the noise (quieter compared to the Dyson) and the ease of cleaning out the dust chamber. I'm not sure I like the light feature of the Bissell which illuminates the dust in front of it but I do not get any satisfaction from seeing it disappear unless I ran the vacuum over the same spot.
I have had 2 Dysons over the last 5 years, I wanted to try a different brand this time i found the dyson a pain to empty, and they only lasted just over 2 years so it was out of warranty each time I had a problem. I went for the Bissell as i read the reviews and they seemed quite good. I must say i really like it as it picks up bigger items than the dyson and it get into the corners. It is easy to empty and last long enough for me to do the whole house. The only thing i find it is heavier, but for the price and the way it cleans i can handle that issue. I would recommend this vacuum.
