Bissell SpotClean ProHeat Red

We bought this for our car and carpet. find this cleaner to be just ok. The attachments leak air so the suction isn’t as good as it could be. It is also advertised as a hot cleaner but it has no heating in it, it just means you add hot water to the machine, but it’s cold by the time it comes out of the sprayer so it’s not really an added feature. All in all it will clean spots but your better off with a spray bottle and a shop vac to suck up the stains or clean larger areas.

Love it. I bought antique velvety chairs and they needed proper clean. Using bissell spot cleaner was just so amazing-easy and very effective. It takes some time to learn how to hold it properly or not to spray water when cleaning as the switch is at the bottom. Highly recommended to buy one if you have animals or small kids.

I love the convenience of this machine. We have a dog and 2 kids so there is constantly messes to clean up.The only downfall I have with this is that there is a hear element that is meant to hear the water. This is useless! It barely was the water at all. This is why I am giving 3 stars, because it is marketed as that being a main feature.

We bought this to spot clean our carpet and it worked great at first but after a few months the Bissell starting leaking water from the dirty water compartment which was really gross. I think if i were to get one next time, I would go for a more heavy duty one. This one is only worth it if you don't use it often.

I thought it would be worth a try to clean the sofa before we paid big dollars to recover it. Wow!! The dirt that came out was phenomenol even with just using the trial bottle of solution, which is enough to give you about two tanks full of cleaning water. It was not enough to give the sofa a really good clean but just a fast pass at the major areas really refreshed the fabric. More cleaning solution is on the way so I can do a good job of it and some other chairs.

Does a great job!

I did quite a bit of research before selecting this Bissell model. Not sure why there are comments on no suction. I just used this on new and old stains and the suction was great. The newer stains came up easily, and of course, the older ones took more work. The stair tool is very clever. I'm happy with this product, and it's easy to use. I was concerned about possible water leakage, but there wasn't any.

Fantastic Product!

This vacuum is fantastic. I was so fed up with spraying, scrubbing, and blotting stains, just to have them still there after they dried. I have a cat, Dalmatian, and German Shepard, and it cleans up ALL pet stains you can think of, old and new. It takes just minutes to get the machine ready, stain removed, and cleaned and put away. This great little vacuum helps relieve the frustration that comes with pet messes. Worth every penny.Thanks Bissell for a great product!

It was great when it worked

Two broken parts in < 2 yrs. This machine is used very occasionally. Within the first 1/2 year the 3 in 1 tool / attachment broke. ($40 to replace on a $99 machine - no thanks)Now the hose is torn near the nozzle - can't find a replacement part for that.... moving to duct tape until I can research a replacement.My wife and I bought our first Bissell when we got married and it lasted for close to three decades. Where did that company go?

Just one complaint ....

Awesome, easy-to-use product, until you try to clean out the brush. My model's user manual shows a BUTTON to open the top of the large brush so you can remove the accumulated dog hair inside. I can see dog hair after one spot cleaning, but my brush has no BUTTON!! My husband has to insert a tool inside the brush to try to pop off the cover, which I fear will break it. Not sure if the manual is wrong, or I just got a bad brush. Makes a "quick cleaning" not so quick and very frustrating.

Leaking

This was purchased for us as a housewarming present, we have used it maybe 5 times total and every single time we have experienced water spraying from the part where the hose is connected to the machine itself. It makes a big mess spraying dirty water where we set the machine down which requires us to set the machine on a towel before using the machine. This defeats the purpose and makes it a pain to even use it. We have the gift receipt but unfortunately it was after 30 days of purchase date when we began using the product.
