Previously had a B&D stick vac from 2019 till recently that was great. The new one is disppointing and feels like a downgrade. It's noisy, top heavy, the dust canister is smaller and does seem not washable like the previous model. Have to empty it after each use, some dust still retained inside due to design. Will need to keep an eye on charge level as did not wish to wall mount. Previous model sat in a stand that was the charger, never needed to worry about charging.

I bought this for xmas for the carers that look after my daughter .Biggest waste of money ever .Blows the dirt instead of sucking and when you turn it off what dirt it has picked up is drops .JUST rubbish .Only had it 3 months what a waste was ok but never great for the first month .I was hoping black and decker was a great brand but how quick I changed my mind. Carers complain so much had to get a stick vaccum perfect and loads cheaper carers are happy

I'm 70 years old, lived all over the place, done a lot of house sitting this century and have owned and used many different vacuum cleaners. This is one of the best: simple and smooth to drive, picks up everything, empties easily. Tough and businesslike., great features. All I need is the "normal" head and the "crevice" head but there are other heads available. No, I don't have children but yes, I do live rurally and have pets, so there's still a lot of dust, mess and fur to clean up — and this vac is perfect.

No stopping to relocate the cord and hangs in any location you care to put the hanger. We use it almost exclusively because it's so easy to use, and empty- which doesn't take long to need doing because it moves dust and dirt so well. Two downsides though, the length of the charger cable is very limiting, another half a metre would be invaluable, and the only mounting screws were for the plasterboard plugs supplied and way too long to use on our wooden wall.
Excellent product; easy to use and maintain! The corded branded vac now gathering dust! Have no idea of the purpose of some negative comments by others! This product's calibre is more towards 4.5+* of 5* rating!
Received this a housewarming gift from my grandmother. So disappointed and feel terrible she spent her money buying me this :( Has barely any section even after being fully charged and cleaning of the filter and cleaning out the rotating brush, barely picks up anything and most of it drops out after lifting up the vacuum or is shot out by the spinning brush. So let down by this product
Does the job fine, sometimes need to vacuum over something twice, but happy with it overall and great to vacuum car with...no cords! Battery lasts about an hr of use. I have another B&D product, so can swap batteries when needed. You def need a charging station (comes with vacuum) so batteries can be on charge all the time to avoid waiting for battery to charge.
Fantastic little Vacuum cleaner cleans both hard and carpet surfaces really well great manoeuvring to under chairs and in tight spaces. Great for picking up pet hair as well. The hand help price is perfect for cleaning furniture and inside the car as well .
I brought this a few months ago and I am about to throw it in the bin. Extremely disappointed! Vacuumed up some shattered glass and it shot it out if I lifted it. If I turn it off it just drops heaps of small bits all over the floor
Best vacuum I’ve bought in a long time but for heavy rocks and what not just remove the head and use it without the head! Requires a lot of maintenance to keep it working optimal like cleaning the filter very regularly but other than that works great!
