I have just recently bought the steam, only been 2 weeks , so far so good on tiles, however i would not recommend it on laminated floor as the mop get too wet and has a potential of damaging the laminated floor. The disadvantage about the mop is that you need to first sweep your floor or vaccum before you use it,other wise it will not be effective.

It is a good product. Tiles appear noticeably cleaner afterwards. It works much faster if an Extra Strength Mould & Mildew Stain Blaster is applied about 3 to 5 minutes before using the steam mop. That will soften the tough dirt and stained spots. Yes, I can recommend this product.The newer version, the BLACK+DECKER 1600W SteaMitt, might be a good buy too.

Steams and cleans well, but it has to be refilled very often due to the small tank. To clean the shower required 4 refills! So if you have small areas to clean, it will work fine. The garment steamer attachment could have been better.

Best mop ever, so easy, so convenient, so effective! I have no regrets, it works wonders! I use it for basically everything. Including the walls, ceiling and rims, the bathroom, kitchen, the microfibre attachments is even great for my couches and car seats! Highly recommend!
Not tried all the tools out yet. There are so many, it’s a bit bewildering looking at the choice. So long as they do their job it will be worth it. Convenient having everything together. The ones I have tried did their job. Bought mostly to clean floors & awkward corners.

I went with a B&D steam mop because of the brand (it's big American brand) and hoping it will be better than my existing one (which was manufactured by a relatively smaller company in EU).I was thoroughly disappointed with the B&D steam mop. My experience is based on using B&D steam mop and comparing the same with the one I had.Yes, it does generate quick steam and quite powerful - That is probably the only good thing about this steam mop.Where does it let B&D down:1. Overall build quality is not sturdy. The plastic quality is not great and does not look "A" class quality.2. Good Points: Continual steam, no button to hold, light and does a gpd job though sometimes leaves floor a little wet, could do with more steam.Improvement Points: Could do with a place to store the cable when not in use and ability to self stand.
Good Points: Like the rectangle head as covers more floor in less timeImprovement Points: Lead is far far too short. Have to plug into 3 different sockets to do kitchen diner
I like the versatility of this machine in that I can clean more than just floors. It certainly puts out steam and gets hot but it also continually spits out hot water as well. I understand this can initially happen with steam mops but it usually stops relatively quickly. Thankfully I purchased multiple pads and can swap them out when they get too saturated but it’s still disappointing that I have to go back and squeegee the excess water to avoid marks on my tile.
