It's a disappointing product from Black & Decker as a handyman I've used many of the tools over the years and they've all been brilliant and Ide happily standby them but this one is a complete disaster I don't know how people can rate it so high it's not very good for cutting branches because it vibrates it's no good for being a jigsaw cutter because you can't see what you're cutting it's no good as a reciprocating saw because you can't see what your doing it's awkwardly made it's not robust the trigger switch on it does not lock on and is an awkward place for use very disappointing the reviews I seen a nothing from a handyman point of view it's a totally useless tool to me because it doesn't do what they say it actually does

This is my third Scorpion in 10 years! The other two wore out through constant use. Great for firewood, trimming trees and so much more. Highly recommend.

I bought this to replace a saw I bought back in 2000! Did so much work with it that it plain wore out. This new one though is amazing. Comes in a superb case that keeps everything tidy and in one place. The "auto select" feature is excellent. The saw cuts wood for making stuff; and beaches for pruning. The jigsaw feature is one I really need and it is brilliant. Haven't tried out the metal cutting blade yet, but it should be as good as everything else. Plus there is a two year warranty. Great value for money (paid much less than I did 20 years ago!) Very happy and thank you Mitre 10 for stocking it. Purchased on line which was very straight forward and delivery was quick too. What more can I say??? Brilliant. Just brilliant.

Had to trim some trees and didn’t want a chainsaw so when I saw this little beauty and bought it. Does what I want it for perfectly and makes the whole job faster and safer. The bonus being it comes with spare blades for metal and plastics and can function as a jigsaw......perfect!
Had been looking for a lightweight electric saw for some time. Appliances Online had the perfect one ! Was emailed as soon as I purchased to say time and date of delivery , which was the next morning. Wish I had bought one of these a long time ago; it would have saved a lot of time and effort and blisters. So far I have only tried the wood blade but it has been great for cutting down and chopping to size. At first I wished it were battery operated but in hindsight that would have been a nuisance; restricting how much one can accomplish. Reccomended.
I got this for Christmas and it's brilliant. As I get older I no longer have the strength or energy to prune thicker trees/branches. This cuts like a hot knife through butter. I highly recommend this saw.
Ive always liked the Scorpion. Its so versatile. The weight makes it a better jigsaw than my actual jigsaw. The fact that you get a jigsaw, a saw and a saber saw in one package makes this good value.
as yet i haven't used but i know when the time comes for projects in the pipeline it will be just what is needed.To buy individual cutting tools a person would be paying much more than the price of this tool.Highly recomend this multi purpose tool.
