I love my Black Decker Rotary Waffle Maker! I had wanted this every since I saw it at a hotel we stayed at, while traveling. They had a complimentary breakfast every morning, they had this Waffle Maker. The only difference with this one, is you have to watch for when the light turns green, where theirs would beep when it was time to flip it, when it was done. Regardless, I love it anyway! Only thing is, remember when you get it to wipe it with a clean, damp cloth, then I seasoned mine (top bottom plates), with butter, then I flipped it, so that the excess oil would flow into the drip pan, then I just wiped the excess off of the outside body. Then I was ready to go. My grandsons loved my waffles! Bon Apotite!

First time using this morning and I am impressed. Expected the first one to come out messed out but was perfect! All you need to do it butter the pan . It was so hot I thought it was going to destroy the waffle but turned out amazing !! ALSO I expected it to make a mess to clean as you’re not able to take it apart to clean but surprisingly nothing sticks and you literally just wipe down when it has cooled down. No scrubbing was needed! The first photo added was right after I removed the waffle without it being cleaned so you can see how easy it will be to clean!Second photo is my waffles

I think it’s a totally adequate waffle maker. I don’t like that I have to wipe it down with oil, instead of using a spray. But I want it to last. Also on a personal preference note, it takes way more batter than my old waffle maker to make one waffle. With the standard 2 cup of Bisquik recipe on the back of the box it only makes four waffles. And lastly, I cook my waffles until the light turns green, then leave them in for another 30 seconds and they are perfect.

I received mine as a gift. I love making waffles with the Black and Decker Belgian Flip Waffle Maker. It is a quality item and very sturdy, not flimsy at all. You just pour in the batter and it makes great looking waffles every time. . Would be great when you are having company visit for the holidays or even childrens sleepover parties if you allow them to make their own waffles. The light on the first one I had was not working correctly but you would still be able to hear a click to let you know when the waffles were done. Quick and easy with no fuss, makes beautiful Belgian waffles just like in the restaurants. I would highly recommend this waffle maker. You will not be disappointed.
I stressed too long about which waffle maker to purchase given good and bad reviews. I finally settled on this one specifically because it seemed simple (the less complicated, the less room for faults imo) and because it flipped. Oh and it was cheaper than most. I expected somewhat to be disappointed just because there wasn't any obvious choices it seemed but rolled the die. Anyhow, I'm glad I "settled" on this one. I did coat it with some coconut oil upon first use but haven't since then and I've not had a waffle stick. I've used it multiple times and can't say enough about it. I make the mix, throw in 3/4 cup, (it WILL overflow if you put in more even though tempted-keep it at 3/4 cup max) green light goes off and it's done! Absolutely zero cleanup. What a dream.
So I got this because my kid loves waffles!! And honestly, I was tired of buying them. This is a great little machine. My daughter has made us waffles a few times since we got it. They come out pretty good. We still have a few things to work out to get them perfect, but they're definitely good. They comes out really well. Taste is of course a personal thing. We just used great value waffle mix, works just fine!!! Will be looking forward to tweaking it to get them just right.
Very nice. Works well, and the waffles are delicious. We us Krusteaz Belgian Waffle Mix which is excellent. For the money, it is definitely worth considering. Much less expensive than our previous waffle maker, but no difference in the end product.
I bought a cheap 3-in-1 waffle iron last year that worked for regular waffles, but not gluten-free egg-free. After finding out how well this waffle iron worked for a friend who also has to avoid gluten and eggs, I finally got one for myself. Each round of waffles is done in 5 minutes or less instead of 20 minutes with my cheap waffle iron! They don't stick and they're perfectly fluffy! If you need a waffle iron, this is the one!
Would not recommend this product to anyone. This is a very poor quality, cheaply made kitchen appliance. The lid will not stay closed when making waffles and the batter leaks out all over the place, even though I put the recommended amount of batter in per directions. Also the green light beside the power light has already burned out.I received this as a gift and have only used it twice. As soon as I get the receipt from the person who gave it to me I will return it.However, I will not be buying this particular appliance again.
Got it for a Christmas gift. I've used it now 4 or 5 times. It's been great in every way. It heats up reasonably quick, the non-stick griddle surfaces do just that; the flip feature works like a charm and the feature I love the most is the light that goes on to let you know when the waffle is ready!... not sure if it is supposed to do that but I find it works out that way for my waffles. The design of the waffle iron itself makes sure no residue builds up in hard-to-reach places, like in a hinged waffle iron. The drip pan is quite useful as some of the grooves underneath are challenging to clean if you don't use it and batter drips on them.
