The Black Diamond Couloir is a highly compressible, full-featured climbing harness that folds down to the size of an orange and easily fits in a backpack or jacket pocket. It is ideal for steep snow flanks, short rappels and terrain riddled with crevasses. The Couloir has been re-engineered with a breathable, low-profile DynexMonofil webbing of varying widths that is ultra-lightweight and durable. The easily adjustable harness features a speed buckle at the waist and leg loops that make it easy to put on and take off with skis or crampons. The Couloir has also been equipped with our patented Infinity Loop for belaying. It is durable, flat, and prevents the awkward slipping of the belay loop when the seam gets caught. Four Ice Clipper openings with an integrated ice screw attachment in each leg loop prevent gear from snagging on long approaches or glacier traverses. Two webbing gear loops secure extra carabiners and other gear.
