Great harness, especially for such a deal on Expert Voice. However, I do have one issue to highlight for others. Although this harness has a ton of adjustability and comfort items, the thigh loops are too narrow. If you are a person who hikes and does leg day in the gym, you may have some issues with leg loop diameter. I am just barely able to use the harness while having plenty of spare room in the waste, and only an inch (at most) of slack left in the leg loop straps when tightened securely. Most climbers are built like a 2x4 piece of lumber, yes, but it wouldn't cost anything to add another inch of leg loop slack.

It’s a really good starter kit. It has everything I needed to start climbing.The harness fits perfectly and the quality looks pretty good.Really good price for what I got.I tried all the things that come in the package for several weeks now and I have no complaints at all.I see no reason on spending more money on something else, unless you’re looking for something really specific. But if you just need to get started, this package will do it.

A great all around harness! i've been using it for about 3 months now for several outdoor all day climbing trips and at the gym 3-4 times a week. Its been comfortable for everything from rappelling to crack climbing. Its easy to fit in my bicycle bag and can tuck nicely into any of my backpack pockets.The gear hardpoints are well designed and the placement was clearly thought through. The right side hardpoints are great form my chalkbag and anchor kit as they are easy to access! My left side hardpoints work great for carrying quickdraws, ATCs or anything else I need!Great harness for climbers of every level while sport climbing. I would love to see a bit more ajustability in the leg loops but other than that wayyy better than the gym rentals i had been using before!

The harness fits well it can be worn all day for multiple days comfortably never had any discomfort. It is durable for a beginner harness and it can take a fall which is the most important part. I highly recommend this harness. I haven’t used this ATC because I have a Wildcountry revo but I have lent it out and it functioned well. My harness actually didn’t arrive with the ATC but I contacted black diamond and they sent me one at no cost great customer service. The chalk bag is great and I like the color. Great kit, good quality materials.The carabiner is top notch, it's sturdy and reliable.Same can be said about the harness and the ATC.Chalk is very finely grained, almost like a facial powder. I've learned that I prefer chunkier chalk, but this is just a matter of taste.The only drawback is that you get a random color chalk bag and I got mine in black. I wanted something brighter so I exchanged it with my friend.
Lovely harness. Fit is very adjustable. 32 inch waist and above get a m/l anything under; go s/m. I have a 29-32 inchish waist and I still had plenty of room for adjustments. I personally have had some weight issues so I wasn’t able to get a dead on size harness. I used to be 180 and a large harness was it for me. The wide range in the size really takes out a lot of guesswork. If you’re worried about it being too big it goes there. If you’re worried about being too small it goes there as well.
Pretty much everything you need to get started at the gym besides a pair of shoes. The harness fits well and is comfortable, and has held up pretty well from a year-ish of moderate use. The chalk bag is a chalk bag, it holds chalk. I do have a soft spot for the black diamond chalk so that was nice to have. And of course the ATC is a staple belay device, the color I received matched the rest of my gear as well so that was a bonus. If you want to get into climbing, save some money and get the bundle. There's pretty much no downside here.
This harness has a shorter rise I suspect because it is unisex and must accommodate women climbers. Women have a shorter rise because their pelvis is not as tall as the pelvis in men. It’s basic anatomy. I’m ok with the leg straps being closer to my crotch because it’s slightly lighter than my Petzl Adjama harness, has better gear loops than my Petzl Tour harness for alpine climbing and the belay loop can be centered. But if you really want a harnesses designed for men, this is not the best choice.

The Momentum harness is robust, comfortable, and fully featured. The Rocklock locking carabiner is one of the best on the market. The ATC-XP is smooth when paying out rope, yet makes braking easy. The Mojo chalk bag is my favorite, and I've got a bin full of them. I also like the chalk that BD provides.
