Received my women's trail cork trekking poles and couldn't wait to try them out on a steep trail run. In preparation, I watched several videos on form and technique. They worked great and were nice and light to carry when not being used. Only reason to not give five stars, some of the cork rubbed off and created some residue on my hands. Not much, but a little bit. Could just be break in. Anyway, I love these poles and would recommend them to anyone!

The cork is comfortable and absorbent, I am a very sweaty hiker living in a high temperature area so it important for me to have a secure grip. I only wanted poles with cork grips. I got these for my wife, she is a AAC member but lets me do the EV shopping! Finally, no more twisting to lock poles! Good "old-fashioned clips" work great. These are nice lightweight poles. The cork grip gets dirty over time but as a medium, on your hand, I /we prefer it to rubber. These come with snow baskets as well as the usual baskets so you can use them all year round. Altogether they have the usual BD quality you would expect. Bonus that the color matched my wife's backpack!

My wife loves them. We’ve just hiked Zion Bryce and Grand Canyon and they worked great. One thing disappointing was they came without tip rubber covers. My poles came with them, and they were very handy on certain rocky trails, which she would have appreciated having them. All else with the adjustments weight grip are great and I would highly recommend these poles to any hiker!!!!
Took these out for the first trip of the season last weekend, solid poles. The locking system is great. I choose these because I was looking for poles with cork handles and I couldn't be happier. I would definitely purchase these again.
Great pole with cork handles which make them so comfortable for longer hikes. Adjustability on these is fast and easy. These poles are only a couple of grams heavier than the carbon fiber version and I think depending on the terrain you hike on the aluminum is a better and more cost-effective choice - plus you get the snow baskets with these!!! .
I’m a newer hiker and wasn’t sure poles were needed and didn’t know what to look for in a pair. So glad I got these. I was told to be sure they are light but strong and collapse with a clamp type device. This pair has all three qualities. They came in a few days, in time for a very hilly hike with sand, mud and flooded trails. I credit them for keeping me out of the poison ivy and on the narrow verges. Lol! Thanks for timely service, Black Diamond, and making them a pretty blue with such comfortable cork handles.
I bought these to replace another another Black Diamond pair after the foldable shaft failed. I wanted telescoping poles to eliminate the chance of this happening again. I love these poles! They are lightweight, have the comfortable cork grip, and are easy to collapse and adjust. I got the Alpine Lake color and belatedly realized what a benefit it is to have poles that stand out a bit when you are in the woods. Brown poles blend in to the background, but these light blue poles are easy to locate if you are taking a break.
Ordered these to use for hiking. They are great. Love that they are adjustable and the cord handles feel great! My only complaint is that I would like to remove the wrist straps as I find it unnecessary for hiking but I can't figure out how to do it without just cutting them off permanently.
Excellent trekking poles for 4 season use. Very sturdy locking mecanism, confortable grip and strap. Fairly lightweight but not ultralight but prefer aluminium than carbon. Purchased as a gift but i have been using the men's trail version for 4 years and love them. Highly recommanded piece of gear.
