I have been buying black hawk food for my chihuahua since we got him! His coat is amazing, and he is always in perfect health. He loves black hawk wet food and is more excited for dinner time then anything else!!! After moving into our new home, one of our other dogs (pug x staffy) moved in with us, she was living elsewhere at the time and had a very poor diet and was overweight and had a very dull coat with a lot of breathing issues. As soon as she moved in we switched her to black hawk! Within a few weeks her coat was glowing and she looks so much thinner, which has helped her breathing immaculately. Our Amstaff has the best coast ever at 4 years old mixing this with the Prime 100 Salmon Turmeric kibble. His digestive system is great and delivery from Pet Culture is efficient and so easy! Highly recommended and you get Woolies points!

I have been using the dry & wet food for my staffyxrotti. Since having her on this brand for 3months, I have noticed a number of positive changes. Her coat is shiny & healthy, she doesn’t have skin irritations on her stomach & she loves the taste of the chicken & rice & also the lamb. She is no longer smelly & her toileting is now regular. Both wet & dry food don’t smell unpleasant & it’s pleasing to see the actual ingredients in the wet food instead of mush.Although expensive, a little goes a long way as long as the feeding guide is followed. My only improvement would be for the wet food cans to be made in a bigger size, rather than 400g.

Compared to other cheaper brands, Black Hawk grain free chicken for dogs is mostly meat and not filled with jelly. It has a fine texture and is not messy to serve and does not have a strong smell. My Staffy loves it as a topper for his kibble.
I would have given 5 stars were it not for the slow delivery. I have had deliveries from the USA in a shorter time. Sure Australia Post dragged the chain, but it took a while to get my shipment to Australia Post. Next time I will place my order while I still have a few tins left to avoid going to Woolies...twice.Having said that, my German Shepherd loves Black Hawk kibble now mixed with Black Hawk wetfood.
The Dobermann loves this .hard to find something she's not fond of but the picture shows one of those peel open dog food when in fact it's a standard tin. Not sure why but I found this misleading. Obviously the marketing people think you won?t buy it if you know it's a tin. Great food though.
My dogs were a bit overweight. I tried the Black Hawk food and are now lovely and slim and the vet is very impressed! My Pet Warehouse is fabulous with their order and delivery timetables. The dogs and I also love the treats we sometimes get in the box. I’m very happy all up.
I feed my three dogs (two kelpies and a border collie), black hawk biscuits and then they get this tinned food as well and they all love it and are doing great, I had a few issues with other foods and one dog on a very low residue diet for a long time and we have slowly re introduced other foods. This one is the only one his tummy tolerates. Doesnt look offensive either like some tinned foods.
We opted for Blackhawk as our wet dog food choice due to the brand reputation, quality of ingredients and nutritional value. It is also cheaper than the quality NZ tinned dog food brands, which have become virtually unaffordable for most pet owners. More than anything though, our dogs love Blackhawk and lick their bowls clean!
Ringo loves his Black Hawk dog food. The poor doggo has a flatulence problem. Since switching to Black Hawk he doesn't have any issues. (and this owner is much happier for it!)I have also put my mums dog, Bella, on Black Hawk, Mum has said she noticed a great difference in Bellas appetite. Previously on cheap supermarket food, Bella would pace the kitchen in the afternoon waiting for dinner. Bella is very satisfied with her Black Hawk.
