I changed to Blackhawk as a brand for my rescue cats when I had a Labrador pup who loved Blackhawk. I'm so glad I did. Sure its more expensive than what I was previously buying but its so much better for them and affordable when purchased in bulk (especially when it is on sale) at Pet Circle. I alternate between "Chicken & Rice" and "Fish". Keeps them interested. Works for them ... works for me, and of course its delivered right to your front door.

One of my cats has medium hair, so, longer than the average and it’s so soft. Since moving completely onto Blackhawk his fur is even softer and there are no more clumps of hair littering the front door mat where he likes to sit.My other short haired cat also seems to be benefiting from Blackhawk as well. His fur seems cleaner.

Well being aware of the fussiness of felines, I made sure I introduced the new dry kibble gradually.And I noticed a gradual increase in the pong coming from the kitty litter tray. The wee seemed extra concentrated .I don’t know whether I’ve become immune to the smell or not, because this seems to have settled, maybe the cat is drinking more?I may switch back to the old diet. I chose Black Hawk because it’s Aussie made, but I’m nervous about possible adverse kidney reactions to it.

While my cats love this product, I'll say I'm rather disappointed in the way it's packaged for delivery, the box gets thrown around by the delivery drivers and I've had not one but two bags split, I have a huge ant infestation at the moment and I wasn't home until late in the evening, the ants assaulted the bag of biscuits and I spent 4+ hours picking ants out of the bag.Packaging could be a lot better in my opinion, these biscuits aren't cheap. Maybe bubble wrap? Some sort of vacuum seal to prevent pests?Otherwise, great product.
Great product have been using it for years very good quality. Unfotunatly this batch had a problem but Pet Circle resolved it straight away with out issue and no cost to me. Excelent seller
PROS: Great food, had no issues with the quality of the food. My girls are healthy. Good price.CONS: It is on the smelly side - my cats still ate it and loved it.Kibble is small - which some cats love but one of my cats didn't chew so I've had to add a dental specific kibble. My other cats teeth are great.Calories too high for indoor cats. Great for out door cats but for my indoor girls it's too much cal. I've had to move to a weight loss food which BH Don't have, which is sad.I do recommend this food and if it wasn't for the weight issues and dental I wouldn't have changed

I switched him from Science Hills diet to Blackhawk a couple of weeks ago.Pros: my cats coat is significantly glossier, shinier and softer. He also seems to have a lot more energy and loves the taste of the food! Fantastic in that respect.Cons: since switching my cat to Blackhawk his poops have smelt absolutely HORRENDOUS! I mean I have closed the door to the room that his littler box is in, and I can STILL smell it from the other end of the house. I mean a stench so strong and offensive it makes your eyes water.All in all, it seems to have done great things for my kitty's appearance and energy levels, but DEAR GOD the smell is shocking. I've done some research when I choose it.Basically just found a blogs said what nutrition should be in what percentage or rangeThen after comparing with many others, I found this one are the perfect match and meanwhile not too expensiveAnyway, after I switched to this cat food. My adult cat gained weight from 3.6 to now 4.2just in 1-2 months, which I can obviously see her eating more food then before.When I pour food in, she shows up. She never done that with previous dry food.Just love it
This is a brand my cat was brought up on. A few months ago I tried her on wet food and she turned into a demanding monster. Even howling for me to get her food every day. So I found her old brand and she was shaking with excitement. I now have a calm and very happy cat. Happy human too. Great store, good communication and prompt shipping.
