The Blackburn Central 350 Micro Front Light is telling you how bright it is. 350 lumens on high power. At 350, it shoots a beam 108 meters in front of you. To make that relevant, think of it this way. At 20mph, you're traveling 8.9 meters per second. Which means that with the beam on high, you can see 12 seconds ahead, which should be plenty of time to react to potholes, fallen trees, etc. The Central 350 is small enough to fit in your jersey pocket, and at 82g, is a weight you'll probably not notice at all. The tool-free mounting makes it easy to whip out this light, and the small size (83mm long by 25mm tall by 33mm wide), makes it unobtrusive on most handlebars. If you need the full power mode, you have 70 minutes of burn time. Switch to low power, 100 lumens of light and 56 meters of distance, and you have three hours. Pulse lasts six hours throwing 200 lumens reaching 56 meters. Strobe 200 hours, 200 lumens and 56 meters. There's a built in charge indicator, so its easy to know when its time to recharge. The light has an internal lithium-ion battery that recharges via a micro-USB port in three hours.
