6K is enough for most people but really expected at least 6K120 or 8K60 given the times and also for future-proofing.

I've been looking into this camera very deeply. There are some really unfortunate things I've discovered...First, the power draw of this camera is a massive 60W! The Sony FX6, which uses the same BP-U batteries, is only 18W. The BMCC 6K Full Frame (same sensor and OLPF) is 30W. The RED Komodo is 45W. People will fly through batteries with this camera much, much more than they anticipate.Second, the URSA Cine Top Handle is not only required to buy to attach the purchasable EVF, but more importantly, it sits so close to the 4 corner mounting points it renders them useless. To go from 9 mounting points to 2 mounting points (available on the top of the top handle) is a very unfortunate design flaw.I love a lot about the PYXIS, but the real-world use and ultimate ... Through my research, I have discovered a huge perk that YouTubers will definitely rip off of my review... Want a stellar monitor and have an iPhone 15? Use your iPhone with the SeeMo 4K via the viewfinder USB-C port at the front of the camera. You'll need to get a USB-C to HDMI cable to plug the HDMI into the SeeMo's input, then you'll have a color-accurate, quality monitor that is a whopping 2,500 nits brightness. If you already have the phone it'll cost you only like $190 total. Insane. That's a perk you get from reading my review.Thank you Blackmagic for changing the form factor and making it aluminum. The battery choice for this camera is great, but it really should have far less power draw.

Blackmagic finally listened and I am here for it. Great camera!
Nice to finally have the box body after so many years, but this is a rehoused Pocket 6K, and not even the 6K Pro because it has no built-in ND filters.
Sad
This is insane
If you want an articulating screen save yourself some money and go get a BMPCC6K Full Frame. This is the first BMD Cinema Camera I can take onto set and not feel that stare down from the clients who know I have a Red Package but brought them my BMD Camera package. I can finally utilize my Video Assists SDI without having to transcode from HDMI. I don't have to shim my EF cinema lenses with the locking EF mount. BMD obviously knows their customer they got 2 preorders out of me, one here and one somewhere else.I'll update the review once I finally get my hands on the camera outside of a tradeshow floor.
I really like this box style..
