The Blackridge LVMP Gravity Fed Air Spray Gun is a great value stater gun, with advantages over that of traditional high-pressure paint guns. As opposed to high pressure models which can be very inefficient with material consumption (sometimes as little as 30% of the loaded material finding its way to the desired surface), low volume-medium pressure guns do not utilise nearly the same amount of pressure to atomise the material. This is perfect for the typical paints used in automotive and general purpose applications that do not require such a high level of atomisation, meaning you get a more efficient rate of transfer to surface with less paint wasted (typically 60%+). Another distinct benefit is in the gravity fed design which can help to reduce low volume spluttering, with the design of the paint sprayer allowing the operator to use all the material loaded in the cup as opposed to suction-style guns. As with most LVMP spray guns, a side mounted spray pattern adjustment and rear mounted volume adjustment dial allow for easy single handed tweaking of material dispersion. This Blackridge gun features a 1.3mm nozzle ideal for paint, as well as top coats and sealers. This particular spray gun is designed to work on any compressor able to deliver 100LPM, and works best with a compressor with a large tank for consistency of flow.
