Blackstar Debut 15E Electric Guitar Amplifier

$154.00

(99 reviews)

Your journey to learning the electric guitar should be inspiring and exciting. Start with a Blackstar Debut Series guitar amplifier to instantly achieve great tones that will make you crave learning and practicing the guitar more and more. The control layout is made very simple for beginners to easily dial in their desired sounds. The Blackstar Debut 15E Guitar Amp is a serious tone machine without the complex bells and whistles. You just have 5 efficient knobs to deal with (Gain, Volume, Tone, ISF, and Delay effect time). The ISF control lets you go from sparkly-bright to thick and woody with just a twist of a single knob. The tone knob boosts or cuts high frequencies. Clean tones are clear and rich; and unlike other small "starter" amps with thin and fizzy distortions, the Debut 15E's overdrive channel delivers thick and punchy overdrive that sounds like its coming from a bigger amp. It also has a built-in Delay effect to give your sound depth and ambience. There's also a line input so you can connect your phone or audio player and practice along music or video tracks. For silent practice, simply plug in your headphones into the speaker-emulated headphone jack and still get the sound of a real amp! At this price, it's hard to find a starter amp that sounds this good! Start with a Blackstar Debut 15E Guitar Amp for hours and hours of playing fun!

Great little practice amp with good additional features. Not battery powered, but if you don't need this feature is a perfect practice amp.

Great practice amp. Had a problem getting enough volume using headphones. Bought a headphone pre amp which has improved things. I contacted Blackstar about the issue. They responded quickly and recommended 8 Ohmn headphones. Overall pretty pleased with it.

Awesome amp for the price

I bought one of these amps and they are incredible for the price. So many great vintage tones that you can get out of it. The problem is not the product it's the people buying it because they don't know what they are buying. I see constantly in the reviews of this amp "no good tones, "no gain" etc... That's not true in the slightest. Yes it's not a heavy metal amp but it in all fairness it doesn't even look like it is. It's a vintage styled amp that has about as much gain as classic rock. It cleans up well, the ISF control makes it unique in dialing in an American amp sound, a British amp sound, or something else entirely. The other thing that is commented on in the negative reviews is the built in delay. The built in delay option just adds presence to your sound. ... MoreI bought one of these amps and they are incredible for the price. It's not a delay pedal so of course it's limited, it's not perfect by any means but it sounds fine to me and many others. The amp gets rather loud for a 15watt solid state amp while still sounding good which I was impressed with. It handles pedals okay, not the greatest not the worst, certain pedals better than others. This amp is great if you want it as a practice amp not your main amp. If you want something that you can play at room volume or a little louder to practice and get nice sounds out of this amp is just that. The last thing I see people giving negative reviews over is the headphone jack... If you're buying a $ practice amp for the purpose of headphones, look somewhere else. The headphone jack is useless and sounds like garbage but that's genuinely my one complaint with this amp and it really doesn't bother me in the slightest. If you want a practice amp to play at night with headphones get a different one but if you are like the other 99% of the population who will buy a practice amp to play at lower room volumes then this amp is perfect...! I don't understand how people even find something to complain about for that price. You get what you pay for. Don't let the negative reviews deter you from buying this amp if you are considering it because those people are unrealistic and didn't know what they were buying. This amp is great as long as you go into buying it with realism of what your buying and for $ I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Great Little Amp

I bought this for use at home, after not playing for a few years. Only a small amp, but more than powerful enough for practising. Good range of effects, delay and overdrive. Looks great too in the cream.

Review of Blackstar Debut 15E 15w 2x3 Practice Amp
22 October 2020

I upgraded this amp in the guitar bundle. It is far louder than I need as a home player, which is great as it allows options. What is great is the mp3 input. As a beginner and nobby no mates, I can play lessons and songs through the amp at the same time as playing the guitar through it.I bought a £30 pair of headphones and have no problem at all with sound quality through the amp, despite what another review stated.Well chuffed with this amp, and my 17 year old son likes the look!

Worst practice amp ever
22 July 2021

I was hoping that with both a tone and isf knobs it wild be a snap to dial in 'the sound in my head' as the ads say. Not really its either nasal or muted or both. That's not the worst of it though. Within the first 30 minutes of use, it began to cut out. The sound would simply warble and stop. Sharply. Apparently they don't make sure they actually work before they leave the factory. I sent it back.
