The Blackstar HT-DistX features inherently scooped mids and heavier lows; perfect for sludgy, diabolical riffs. This is like several distorted amp stacks enclosed in a pedal. At its heart is a real ECC83 (12AX7) tube for that distinctive clipping and compression that tubes are known for. That tube is also internally fed with 300 volts for that authentic amp feel. An onboard 3-band EQ coupled with Blackstar's ISF control lets you dial in the sound you are after. Turn the ISF anti-clockwise for a bright and percussive American amp response, or turn clockwise to achieve a spongy British amp response. As with all HT Series Distortion/Drive Pedals, you also get an emulated line output to instantly attain the sound of a real mic'd-in amplifier through headphones, PA system, or recording interface.
