The stellar techs at The Dashcam Store helped me pick out this camera for my 2023 Subaru Crosstrek. The cameras are compact and they basically blend right in (I don’t even notice it any more). I had a local shop hardwired them to my vehicle. The front camera was installed just below the driver’s side sun visor, rear camera was installed to the middle of the headliner. Both front and rear cameras are easy to use, they provides great play back and clear images. I also most recently picked up the LTE Module to accompany the dash cam, as well as the cloud services. The LET Module assists with the ease of operation and playback. I’m still learning how to use the app so the jury is still out on this aspect of the whole set up. CONS would be the white light on the rear ... MoreThe stellar techs at The Dashcam Store helped me pick out this camera for my 2023 Subaru Crosstrek. Simple fix was just to apply a small piece of tape over the light while I'm out in the wild.I am very thankful I found The Dashcam Store and value their assistance. This is an all-around great camera system for a 1st time dash cam owner/operator.

The installation was straight forward and about what you'd expect. I did purchase the Power Magic Pro hardwire kit. The visual quality of the 4K front camera versus the 1080p HD rear camera is significant. You can make out license plates from a much farther distance. Road signs, even at high speed, are easy to see on the BlackVue playback app.Be aware that BlackVue cameras are VERY picky about the micro sd card you choose. Forget using the cheap Sandisk or Samsung cards. I had one of these in an older BlackVue and the camera rebooted randomly and frequently. However, BlackVue is ridiculous in their pricing of their own house ... MoreI purchased the BlackVue 900S 2CH for my Chevy Caprice. BlackBoxMyCar: You should really be selling these, rather than BlackVue's absurdly overpriced cards.

BBMC service was good. The camera features mostly don’t work. WiFi won’t hold longer than 10 seconds, subsequently I can’t upgrade the firmware or view recordings. I activated the Blackvue SIM card but it doesn’t work. Changing the clock also doesn’t work, it only allows for on-the-hour setting. Between the DR900s and this one I’ve been grifted for over $1200.
This was my first dash cam purchase, and it greatly exceeded my expectations. I've been considering a dash cam for years, and when I saw this product with 4K resolution (front cam) and after watching reviews on YouTube - I decided to finally go for it, and I'm really glad that I did! This camera set is not the cheapest, but the quality of the hardware, video quality, mobile app, and the desktop program make it totally worth it (to me at least), and it really is the top of the line right now. The camera's wifi has made it easy for me to download video clips to my phone on the go, or just pop the SD card into the computer to save files there and see more detailed information. The camera itself is quite stealthy which is important to me, and the setup was really ... MoreThis was my first dash cam purchase, and it greatly exceeded my expectations. The camera's wifi has made it easy for me to download video clips to my phone on the go, or just pop the SD card into the computer to save files there and see more detailed information. The camera itself is quite stealthy which is important to me, and the setup was really easy. Pop in the SD card, plug it in, change some settings - and it's recording. The settings allow you to turn off the LEDs on the unit so it is not very noticeable from outside the car. I mounted the front camera right in front of my rear-view mirror and I don't even see it when I'm driving, the rear camera is smaller and is hardly noticeable from the back.I saw one of the other reviews here saying that it's not easy to see licence plates, but that's misleading. The wide angle of the video makes things seem further away when viewing the video straight, but putting that video clip into any video editing software (free programs: Windows Movie Maker or iMovie) will let you zoom in and see licence plates fairly clearly in most situations. This is the reason I've never purchased a dash cam in the past; the resolution was always too low to be worth the money, but with 4K resolution it really is quite impressive.Right now I just have the cameras plugged in to my car's cigarette lighter, but I'm planning to get the battery pack to utilize parking mode. And finally, I'm very glad I purchased from Blackboxmycar - free shipping that arrived in less than a week (to Chicago area), and they provided great customer service when I placed a second order on another product. It's disappointing to see that people are giving one-star reviews because of shipping questions, because this camera set has been perfect to me so far.
Techs Michael & Grayson helped me make this purchase. So far, so good. I’ve had BlackVue cams before. Probably my favorite feature is the automatic shut down in the extreme heat, which makes sense forme living in Phoenix, Arizona. I do think the app still needs a bit of tweaking, but nice to know BlackBoxMyCar will help if I have any issues.
I purchased this very expensive Dashcam (4K Only on your 4K Laptop) and if you do not have 4K on your mobile then the picture is not very good at all, as it does not show on your mobile as 4K, given the fact that people are on their Mobiles the most. I thought it had all the stuff needed as it takes motion videos moving outside my car this is why I spent £529. I found that after It had been recording for 24hrs, the picture is curved on your mobile. To my surprise, it has (NO NIGHT VISION) but states Night Time Recording which is not Night Vision so if you live in a dark unlighted car park/estate or flats your videos are recorded in total darkness. In order to see good videos you have to remove the SD Card, when you do it's not still recording; For this reason and ... MoreI purchased this very expensive Dashcam (4K Only on your 4K Laptop) and if you do not have 4K on your mobile then the picture is not very good at all, as it does not show on your mobile as 4K, given the fact that people are on their Mobiles the most. When I was just about ready to purchase a BlackVue DR970X 2 channel dash cam, I called BlackboxMyCar Canada and they were a great help, answering my questions and helping me sort through which options I needed and which I didn’t. In no time, I was the proud owner of a new black box. In just a couple of days, my cam arrived.I’m really happy with my camera and the purchase and if I had to do it all over again, I wouldn’t change a thing (except I would have bought the polarizer at the same time I bought the camera, but that’s entirely my own fault). Thanks, BlackboxMyCar!
Upgraded my old Blackvue DR650GW-2CH to the new DR970X-2CH. Bought my first dashcam from Alex Jang when he use to operate from his condo 9 years ago. Always have been impressed with Blackvue's style of minimalism and exceptional product quality. Took me a while to purchase a quality dashcam until the technology caught up. Went to the retail store, grabbed the product and installed it myself no problems. Was impressed with the Youtube Product Reviews from various different users to get a good unbiased review.
I purchase from this website the DR-750S 2CH and I had two main issues with this model: getting connecting and disconnecting too many times, no matter if I was connected to my home's wifi or the hotspot that I have in the car. I get in contact with the customer support team and they told me that I can send it back since it was still under warranty, but I have to pay a "Service Fee" of $80. Here is their answer on my question on what is this service fee (copy/paste):"The service fee to better explain is there to cover the restocking of the product, and covers part of the shipping costs involved with the original unit and second unit. The cost was already discounted form $80 to $60 for you by Mark, but I was able to speak with a manager and was able to bring it down ... MoreI purchase from this website the DR-750S 2CH and I had two main issues with this model: getting connecting and disconnecting too many times, no matter if I was connected to my home's wifi or the hotspot that I have in the car. The cost was already discounted form $80 to $60 for you by Mark, but I was able to speak with a manager and was able to bring it down to $40."But what they really mean is that if you buy a product for this company, in order to reuse the product, they charge the customer for new boxes and all stuff the original product is coming with.THEY also offer me to upgrade to they newest model, the DR900S-2CH and pay a difference of $150 more. After some emails, they agreed to upgrade to the latest model the DR900S-2CH, if I pay $150 more. So, I paid $354.99 for the 750 model, plus $150 for the upgrade, $504.99 to own the DR900S-2CH in total, without them charging me the $80 of their ridiculous "Service Fee".Just to remind you that at the moment the DR900S-2CH model cost $479.99!So after I paid and after they ship the camera, last night I saw at the shipping email, this: 1x Upgrade to DR900S - Camera only RA-2157.Right away I understand what they mean, although I wrote an email asking them what this mean. Here is their answer:"Yes it would coming in a new box, and everything that we are sending will be brand new, however we would just be replacing what you sent to us. So the accessories that you keep from the DR750S box would just be removed, and you would get the box with the camera inside, to replace what you have sent us. The camera uses the same mount that you already have installed on your vehicle."THEY NEVER MENTION THAT THEY WILL SEND MY ORDER LIKE THIS.This company is a joke. They trying to making money by charging a ridiculous "Service Fee" and if you push them to not to, they will trick you by sending you half of the items with stupid excuses.I know that since I write this review to this site, you will probably take down the review, but I will re-post it everywhere else is possible so people will know what terrible, cheap and tricky customer service you provide.
