THE best product if you have coloured blonde/bleached hair This product and every product in this range is worth every cent if you have blonde/bleached hair. I bought this after lifting and bleaching from box dyed dark brown hair to blonde hair. This in combination with the Blond Absolu ultra violet shampoo has worked wonders in calming the orange tones in my hair. This product has also been key in restoring the healthy, smooth texture to my hair and reducing the damage from the colour processing my hair went through. I use a little bit with my conditioner with each wash and once a week have a proper leave in mask as the product is intended. I find that this has worked for me.

I trialled the Kerastse Blond Absolu Bain Lumiere (shampoo) together with the Masque Ultra-Violet (mask) and Cicaplasm (leave-in serum). A couple of days later, I tried again, and left the mask on for a few more minutes. I could certainly see an improvement then! The brassy tones were neutralised and there was a nice shine to my hair. It’s the mask that seems to make the biggest difference I feel, and the instructions say you can leave it on for as long as 10 minutes. \n\nI’m not sure how the products would perform with ongoing regular use, but I’m definitely going to make room for them during the week 4-7 period when I need a freshen up between salon visits. The Blond Absolu range seems to help prolong the crisper cool tones in my hair. \n\nThe mask is a bright “whoooaaa” in-your-face electric purple, so no surprise it’s so effective!\n

Ok here’s everything you need to know: Pros- hydrates, smoothes, adds shine, and helps tone hair. Cons: super thick consistency (think of like a really firm body butter?) so it’s hard to spread onto hair. If you have extensions, it WILL soak this up in like two seconds and stain purple. In my experience, the only way to use this well is mix it with a normal conditioner to make it spread and dilute it. Therefore, I have a love hate relationship with this product. It works really well for combatting brass, adding shine, and smoothing, but is annoying to use and expensive. I personally recommend the Matrix So Silver triple hydrating mask instead since it’s cheaper and does the same thing without all the cons I listed.

I am loving this collection, I got my hair done a couple weeks ago and I know how hard is too keep your hair hydrated after so much bleach and chemical process so I decided to spent a little bit more of what I was expecting but it was totally worth it. This line is working beautiful on me. It leaves my hair shiny clean and so soft. I was afraid of my hair bien dry but using this product I haven’t had any dry, split ends. It doesn’t weight down my hair either and I am only washing my hair twice a week.
I first tried Kérastase when i went blonder and my hairstylist recommended the purple shampoo. I had used purple shampoo before that was way less pricy and was not expecting much by was blown away by how good it made my hair look and feel- it hydrated and repaired along with keeping the color right. I didn't feel a purple mask was necessary on top of that but decided to give this a go anyways and I'm glad I did. It works very well. With that said, I don't think you need both. I don't use this masque so much because when combined with frequent use of the purple shampoo, my hair lightens too much. I tend to use a different Kérastase masque for this reason but otherwise it's a great masque.
The best thing about this product is the scent, which triggered a near-Proustian moment for me. That said, the scent can only take you so far... I found that the mask's effect on my hair was strangely the opposite of what I wanted. My hair looked duller, darker, and dryer after using. Compared with the Ouai mask, this is a dud. Thankfully I received a sample of this rather than forking out $75. I wouldn't use again (but I would love to smell it again!).
I have been ash/grey blond for many years now. Meaning I have tried a TON of toners. I am totally obsessed with this toner. Totally and 100% worth the extra costs. It tones without making my hair feel like straw. I read a ton of reviews before buying. I’ve come to the conclusion that the negative reviews are mostly from people that don’t know how to use a toner. You have to treat it like hair color…it is depositing color! You must put it on evenly…it will stain you hands. But it’s ok…washes off easily. Also, you should understand how fast you hair absorbs color. This is how I use all the toners I have tried. My shower routine. 1. Shampoo 2. Wash face 3. Apply toner, comb through and clip hair up 4. Shower & Shave (10-15 minutes) 5. RISE out toner. RINSE RINSE RINSE! ... I received this as a sample and was so wow'd that I bought the full size which IMO is very expensive but worth every penny! I have tried every purple shampoo/conditioner/mask known and they all leave my hair looking more dull than before OR they look grey/lavender. I don't want to be a cool toned icy blonde, my hair is a wheat blonde but in between colours it does start to turn yellow and since I had a sample I thought I would give it a try. My hair instantly looks refreshed and back to my wheat coloured blonde again with zero dullness/ashy tones. Besides being an amazing in between colourings toner the deep conditioning aspect is amazing! I have tried several kerastase deep conditioners with meh results but this one makes my hair so soft and silky but i still get ... I have tried several kerastase deep conditioners with meh results but this one makes my hair so soft and silky but i still get tons of volume. I am not crazy about the smell (very floral) but don't really care for any of the kerastase scents but that is just me. If I have somewhere special to go I save this treatment for that because i am guaranteed a good hair day every time i use it. I highly recommend it!
The BEST purple treatment! I hate purple shampoo, I find it not great as a shampoo, and often leaves my hair feeling dry and limp - so it feels like a trade off between my hair quality that day with general tone of the hair. But this left my hair feeling GREAT and looking great. Immediately bought one for my sister, who has had a lifetime of using purple shampoo weekly - and she agrees. Highly recommend!
I have naturally curly, dry hair that leans red (even my ‘virgin’ roots make an ashy brown touch up colour seem warm). Add the fact that I have well water and it is almost impossible to keep my highlighted blonde not brassy. Enter this conditioner. I am literally blown away by how well it works! Not only does it prevent brassiness from getting worse, but it actually takes my hair back into cool tones. This is a result I have literally never had with any other purple shampoo or conditioner, I have always just used it to fend off total orange and lived for when I could get back to the salon for a tone. Now I am ULTRA brassy and dry, so I actually slept in this conditioner (which I normally would). I think this would be too extreme for the average blonde but it does ... I have highlights that are practically white (a result I welcome!!!) my hair also felt super soft in the morning. I only wet my hair twice a week and have only slept in this conditioner a couple times and think I will need to skip next week. I hate the price but would rather pay more for something that works vs a little less for something that I never really felt sure about. If you’re on the fence, GET IT. I have included before (blow dried) and after (naturally curly) photos. This difference is from 2 uses!!!
