Most people I have taught the game to have asked to play it again, which alone makes it worth the price.

Bloodborne: The Card Game
12 January 2017

This was my first board game purchase. I mainly bought it because Bloodborne video game is one of my favorites. I enjoy it with my family and friends, especially the co-op aspect when discussing which cards to play as a group. The play is fairly quick and some cards' special effects spice things up. My main disappointment is that it requires 3-5 players, while 2 is my ideal count. Using some house rules, I play 2 players games but in such setup the games feels too quiet and relaxed. At the end I am happy with my purchase and see myself buying more games in the future, exploring this new hobby (I already ordered Warhammer Quest The Adventure Game and plan to buy Dark Souls The Card Game when it is released).

Chalice Dungeons Await.

It's an amazing journey to the dapths of Yarnham. The game is very easy to learn and understand, however it will take forever to master. With lies and deception in the forfront it will take only the bravest of hunters to achieve victory. Gameplay is roughly 30-50 min. After playing a few times we have had some go as quick as 15 min. This game is great for family game night or just killing time with some friends

Fan or the video game

I like this game because it's small and like the video game it proccedes I like a lot of the mechanics that are in the game like saving your blood tokens and if you die you lose them all just like in the video game. Only downside i have is that their isn't an official solo rule set and as of now it's reconnemed to be played with at least 3 to 5 players.

Feels like Bloodborne
11 December 2019

As surprising as it may be, Bloodborne translates very well into card game form. This game is excellent at making each run feel different and making each player feel strong.Bloodborne is a semi cooperative game, with each player working towards the same goal, while requiring players to be thinking about how to get themselves ahead. There can only be one winner. All in all a fantastic transformation of a great video game into a very true to the source material card game.

Great Adaption of the Video Game
9 January 2017

This game is a great combination of cooperative and competitive gameplay. Players want to help each other defeat monsters, but are still trying to have the high score at the end of the game. Even though the difficulty is 14+, the instructions are AMAZING at explaining how to play this game step by step. The first time to play takes about an hour, but once you understand everything it can be done in only half an hour.Aspects of this game are straight from the video game. The monsters and weapons look the same, and are mostly similar to their video game counterparts.

This game is so good I bought it twice! Accidentally. The contents are all of high quality and the game is simple to learn and play.We enjoyed it but not quite what we expected, though making a soulslike board game could be challenging.

Enter the dungeon brave hunters, only one of you will exit victorious. Players will enter the Chalice dungeon together as a team, striving to destroy the monstrous denizens within, but eventually all partnerships come to an end. In Bloodborne: the card Game, 3 to 5 hunters work together to get through the dungeon and collect yharnams blood before facing off against the horrible final boss. Hunters engage in battle with monsters, secretly selecting an action card to play simultaneously. Discussion is allowed, even encouraged, but players arent bound by any promise they make. As they advance deeper into the dungeon, they will collect the blood of their fallen opponents. If the team can survive the final boss, the hunter with the most trophies will be named the Victor.
