It’s a great tank and a good size for a small area. However, you will not be able to find the replacement filter media. I’ve had the tank for about 4 or 5 months now and the filter is barely working. I contacted blue planet for stockists but they couldn’t give me an answer. I’ve also been to many aquarium stores (some that even sell this tank) and they recommended that I make the sponge myself. But being a round “O” shape, it’s impossible. So great tank short term, but if you care about the health of your fish, stay away. I’m not even sure why stores are selling this tank without the necessary products to maintain the health of the fish.

The aquarium is cute and when filled with live plants and fish it looks incredible.Cons:Unable to buy replacement parts. Once the light bulb goes out you have to replace the entire top which cost $60. I needed to replace mine at one year.The same goes for the filter. You'll have to be creative to get this changed.
Very Good customer service with the guys at Tech Den. The Deco O Mini 20 litre is a beautiful little tank that my daughter absolutely loves.
I now have 2 of these and think they are excellent for simese fighters.
I've bought quite a few tanks over the years but I purchased this one as a gift for my Mum. Very impressed with the quality of the build & how's its neatly designed to hide away the airtube & cables. Good quality air filter & pump with easily replaceable parts. My only gripe was that this model doesn't actually have a "moonlight" mode for the light. It is a "mood light" which constantly cycles thru different colours. Nice but I might have chosen differently if I had realised it. Still happy with the purchase though.
