The Blueair HealthProtect 7400 Smart Combination Filter is designed for use as a replacement filter in either a Blueair 7440i or 7470i Air Purifier. To achieve great results, it uses both particle and carbon filtration to reduce common contaminant levels by up to 99.97%. Effective Contaminant Filtration The HealthProtect 7400 Smart Combination Filter excels at removing a wide range of pollutants from the surrounding air supply, and it can effectively trap particles down to 0.1 microns in size. Therefore, it reduces the pollution levels of many common contaminants, including: Dust, pet dander, pollen and mould Odours, smoke and VOC’s (Volatile Organic Compounds) Bacteria and viruses Additionally, the HEPASilent technology has been independently tested at RISE (Research Institutes of Sweden) to achieve the HEPA H13 filtration grade according to standard EN-1822. HEPASilent Performance Data Quiet & Efficient Thanks to Blueair’s advanced HEPASilent filtration technology, the HealthProtect 7400 Smart Combination Filter is less dense than comparable filters. This doesn’t impact its ability, but it does allow it to work more efficiently with less air pressure. As a result, it requires less assistance from a fan, reducing the units power demand and keeping the noise level low. Smart Filter Technology To ensure optimal performance, a smart RFID chip accurately monitors the status of the Smart Combination Filter over time. Then as soon as a reduction in efficiency is detected, the filter replacement reminder is activated to indicate the need for a new filter cartridge. As a result, the filters can safely remain in use for up to 12 months depending on the quality of the surrounding air. Clean Replacement Process In keeping with the HealthProtect focus on user experience, the Smart Combination Filter has a unique booklet style design. Not only does this increase its surface area, but it allows for clean removal by trapping dust and pollutants within each side.
