My feet have been within the realm of Blundstone Boots for a very long time. I have never been disappointed in the brand, the materials used and the durability of the materials used. For the first time, I contacted Blundstone to explain that the above shoe was done way before its time. Their response was..."normal wear and tear", which I disagree with. A few years more on them, sure, I'd understand the reply. But these were only 1,5 years young, w/o any excessive use. I have walked in all of my Blundstones anywhere between 5-7 years, still in one piece, just visually worn. This particular pair fell apart after 1,5 years. Therefore, I contacted B. and was a bit disappointed by the short response. After many years of wearing them, and buying them, I was simply a bit saddened by their response. I will still buy and wear them and trust the next pair will be a "Friday shoe".

This is my first ever pair of Chelsea boots, and it's a fantastic introduction! Initial period of wearing in was painful though. I didn't listen to the numerous "wear it around the house" advice. I wore it to work, which meant a lot of rather long walks. Not a great idea! Wear it around home, or periods that don't require lengthy walks, just to stretch it. Once it's worn in, it's bloody nice! My only potential concern is not being able to replace the soles. However, let's see first if the leather upper will outlive the soles.

The quality and comfort of the boot is great. Customer service is exceptional. My only issue is the difference in size of the 2 boots. The left foot fits perfectly. The right boot fits extremely tight. I've tried to stretch the leather but still tight. It's tight both on the side and on top of the foot. I've never experienced such a difference in a pait of boots. I haven't worn them much for that reason.
