Blunt - Metro Umbrella - Black

I was given a blunt metro umbrella in purple and I loved it. It was a great size, very sturdy, easy to use. Unfortunately I lost it, was so upset…stupidly, I purchased another brand, used it once, threw it in the bin and purchased another Blunt metro on line. I would not hesitate to recommend this umbrella, it was money well spent .umbrella in purple and absolutely loved it. It was the best umbrella that I ever owned. Unfortunately I lost it….I purchased a different brand umbrella. Used it once, through it in the bin, and purchased another blunt metro umbrella and am thrilled.

I can't fault the quality! The colour (red) was bold and matched the swatch online.Wasn't as compact as I was hoping for which I guess you don't really know until you try adding it into a few daily handbags and working it into your daily use.I have yet to really test the wind resistance factor however it really does feel more stable than the cheaper models out there in the market.Covers me well and I remain dry in heavy/average rainfall.I would recommend and potentially purchase some as gifts for my friends / family.

I bought a Metro UV umbrella for walking outside in the city during the harsh glaring sunshine of our Australian summer. This umbrella is easy to open & very effective at keeping cooler outside. Way better than wearing a hat. It also works just fine in the rain as well. The curved corners are a great innovation - no need to worry about poking out anyone’s eyes. The only thing I would wish for is a smaller folded size so it can fit in my smallish cross body bag. I rigged up a cross body strap by looping it through the branding tags - however some attachment points at either end would allow greater flexibility in ways it can be carried. The yellow colour is lovely - a white version would also be a light neutral colour for walking in the sun.

I have been a fan for years and given them the benefit of the doubt in the past.The Blunt XSMetro has 'flipped' inside out during heavy storms several times, something that it claims it is designed to withstand. I have witnessed this on every Blunt XSMetro I have ever purchased, which is about 5-6. Adorable and well-built

This little fuschia umbrella is a bright blossom on a gray rainy day. So stylish and strong, and so beautifully designed that I am actually proud to don it. It's the perfect size for my car and travel bag. Best overall umbrella I've ever owned.

Beautiful Stylish Umbrella that Works Wonderfully

I love this umbrella. The floral cut, although simple, is just enough to give your umbrella that little bit of extra style. It’s wonderfully functional too for 1 person and a bit longer than most portable (put in your knapsack) umbrellas. I bought the navy and I think it’s a nice deep rich colour. If you want to be bolder then go for something brighter.

Blunt Umbrella Metro - XS - Orange

I like the orange colour as it stands out on dark rainy nights. The style is different and eye-catching. I received the umbrella today and tested it out in Vancouver. It was light rain with some wind. No wind warning issued so it wasn't really windy. I tested it against the wind and the shaft locking mechanism is weak. The wind pushed the umbrella down its shaft almost squishing my hand. I tested it with the same direction as the wind and to my surprise the umbrella flipped in low wind despite Blunt saying their umbrellas are inversion resistant and in extreme circumstances the umbrella may invert. I've had umbrellas at half the price and the shafts have never ever collapsed even in the strongest winds.

Disappointed - not that well made and overpriced for what you get

I don't understand what all the fuss is about these umbrellas: overpriced marketing hype.It's got a small handle that is hard to hold and barely fits in the hand without constantly pushing the release button, and it frequently loosens on itself and starts to collapse the shaft in the wind. It's all kinds of annoying.I've had department store umbrellas that are far better made.The blunt tips and color is nice though.Quite dissapointed.

Good quality and compact

Haven't had to use it much yet (thankfully) but it is a constant in my bag. Love the colour/pattern and it is so sturdy. Really like that it has a functional case/cover for storing neatly and that repairing rather than replacing is encouraged (if I do have any issues after the 2 year warranty). Ordering and delivery was quick and efficient. I also love my Bobbi boots in Slate Grey but kind of wish I had got the boots to match the brolly now!

Easy to use website, great communication, boots and umbrellas. They are all such lovely quality and so pretty! My daughters are so happy with their boots. We each got an umbrella & love them! I will be getting myself some boots too in the near future. Just beautiful! & the colours! I hope other people find this gem of a company!
