I have been a fan of Blunt umbrellas for some time now. They are good quality and durable in extreme conditions. I am particularly fond of my UV umbrella as it can be used for sun and rain protection.

Love my blunt umbrella. Got to try it in strong winds with rain and it flipped but went right back. A bit bulkier than normal and a little bit heavier but so worth it. Cant wait to try it out with the UV rays in summer.
I've had this umbrella for 2 years now but have used it only on a few occasions. Sadly it did not live up to expectations. I bought this mainly for UV/sun protection on short walks to the shops etc. I have a larger umbrella for hiking/longer walking.Appearance: 5/5 Can't complain about the distinctive Blunt silhouette. Looks great and the navy dark and rich.Quality: 1/5 The frame is different from other umbrellas I've had, it doesn't open and 'lock' open but kinda floats. I haven't had any issues with wind so far but it just feels flimsy. Its like I feel the urge to push it up more but this is the design. I could feel the heat (28 degree day) just permeating around the umbrella so it really wasn't doing much to cool me down.Rain Protection: 1/5 it's so small and the scallop edge design means rain projection is compromised.Weight/Packability: 1/5 for the smallest umbrella in the range it's really bulky and heavy. Forget putting it in a handbag, will need a large tote or backpack.Overall maybe its just not for me but I think this umbrella sells on looks but fails as an actual umbrella. I'm sticking with my EuroSchrim UV (super lightweight) and my basic Woolies golf umbrella for rain.
Handle broke on my first one just over a year old. Blunt was just going to repair and glue or send me another handle to do this. Not at all happy about the response from blunt. It has 2 years warranty and an extended one of 5 years.However after contacting David Jones they happily replaced it with a new one. Very happy and appreciative of David Jones for stepping up and doing this.
I’ve had three of different sizes including this model. I waterblasted and scrubbed one after being submerged in Cyclone Gabrielle mud and although a bit discoloured didn’t go rusty. A bit of silicone on the metal and it has another life.
Great colour and uv protection. These umbrellas are amazing. The only umbrellas I buy especially in windy Melbourne weather.
This is a sturdy umbrella. I purchased it for my daughter, to keep in her first car. She likes it.
Very smart umbrella! Just waiting for the rain to give it a good work out.
