As I said in the title, I love Bob’s Red Mill products and I purchase them whenever they are available. I always buy the baking soda, not just for cooking or cleaning, but my favorite face mask (Biologique Recherche’s Masque Vivant) suggests mixing a dash to really detoxify the pores and adding the baking soda turns it into a really cool oxygenated texture. So, the fact that I’m using this on my sensitive skin calls for the very best. I have baked with it though and it could be my imagination, but it tastes better?! It’s extracted by a water process that doesn’t use chemicals. I think it gives a lighter texture to baked goods. I highly recommend trying if you can!

No aluminum!

My kids love homemade pancakes, waffles, and brownies! I was looking for a baking soda with no added aluminum, so I did some research and decided to order Bob’s Red Mill. The shipping was fast and the packaging was good. The size of the product is great (454gm) considering the amount of baking soda used in baking so a bag will last for a long time. It is amazing!! I will never go back to purchasing the conventional baking soda at the supermarket. I highly recommend this product instead of the aluminum containing one and by the way, it is also gluten-free for those who are trying to avoid gluten and includes a lemon sugar cookies recipe on the back!
