Bobbi Brown Bronzing Powder, 9 G Golden Light

My favorite bronzer. I wear this pretty much every time I put makeup on nowadays. There's very little to no shimmer in it and thankfully no orange whatsoever. I find it's very buildable and blends on my skin totally matte. Just keep in mind you may want to go with a light hand as it's very pigmented - which is also a great thing as it will be a long time before you hit the pan with this one! The fact that it has no shimmer allows me to contour using a separate highlighter when I wish, which is another thing I like, in fact there's nothing I don't like about this bronzer and despite having read about issues it developing a hardened top layer, so far I've not experienced it happening, if it does I will update here. Love the formula - slightly too warm for my preference

I really like this formula but the color tends to be warmer than my preferred bronzer. Very Slightly orange. I'm light skin toned and the shade medium pulls slightly too warm for me, not too dark just the undertone is too orange. The formula however I find nice and buildable and easy to blend. Light weight and silky. No issues with patchiness. If this was less warm id absolutely love this. The packaging is nice and sleek, finger print prone though. I attached a picture with a swatch against my wrist so that you could see the color alone up against my natural color (no foundation)

New formula is disappointing

I've used and loved this bronzer for sooo many years. I was very upset when it disappeared for a while. It's back now, in a new formula I guess..? The medium color is the same, and the application felt the same, so I was very pleased to have it back. However, the new formula is incredibly fragile!!! Mine shattered days after buying it, and it was just sitting on my counter. I could see after it shattered how finely pressed it now is, and how easily it can break. That's almost $70 C down the drain, so disappointed. If you buy this, be very careful handling and storing it!! It looks like I won't be repurchasing, so sad, I'll have to go back to looking for something a bit more stable!!

Bobbi Brown never misses when it comes to complexion products. This bronzer is no different. The Bronzer was gifted by BobbiBrown in exchange for an honest review. The product has a lovely natural finish. It's not streaky or patchy. It blends into the skin naturally. Though the price is a little steep, it is worth it for the size and prestige formula. The compact is very sleek and has a nice mirror. I'm definitely going to try to play around with it on friends with different complexions. It honestly doesn't even matter what shade you purchase, it's all going to come down to application. Start out with a little bit and work your way up to intensify the tone to your desired preference.

I recently got this bronzer gifted by bobbibrown in the shade Deep, which is a deep warm bronzer. I typically use an extremely old Too Faced bronzer in medium/deep, so I've been looking for a darker shade and was conveniently able to try this out. It's definitely a noticeable, deep, rich, dark brown that on first application I was scared of it being too heavy. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how effortless it was to blend, and how natural-looking the dimension that it gave my skin looked afterward. It's very pigmented yet lightweight and glides on the skin very easily. It lasted the entire day for me, without the use of setting spray and a little definitely goes a long way. [Rewarded Review] Gives my face life

Very lightweight formula that blends nicely and doesn’t look patchy. Makes my super pale, winter skin come alive. I just look healthier after I apply it. It looks beautiful even on my lids when I want a low maintenance look. The color doesn’t go gray or orange…it’s a fantastic middle for my skin. The only issue I have is that the new formula has coconut oil which usually breaks me out so I’m going to continue using and monitor my skin to see if I have any blemishes popping up. Coconut oil can clog pores so if you have blemish prone skin be aware that it’s in the new formula. Overall so far I love how this looks and wears. Gifted by Bobbi Brown

Gifted by Bobbi Brown for my honest thoughts and opinions. Definitely a nice and luxe feeling bronzing powder. The shade medium, is a tad darker than I thought it would be. I swatched it in the pic so you can actually see the color, it's un-blended. At first I thought the color looked too muddy on me. It blended nicely into my skin, so it wasn't too dark after all, and didn't look so muddy after blending. I don't really contour, I prefer to just swish the powder all over my face for that bronzed, summery, sun kissed look. The powder feels super nice, and I have been reaching for it even on days when I don't want to wear makeup. I just give a quick swirly motion onto my cheeks, forehead and it makes my skin look nice. On some days I even use it as, a light eyeshadow.
