A great everyday lipstick for office, WFH, or casual outings

I am so glad I gave this a try and feel like this could be a great every day lipstick If you want a natural, MLBB look, this one is worth a try. If you want a full glam, photography friendly lipstick, this may not be the lipstick you want to use for those moments as it probably won't show up well as it does fade.Overall, I recommend this for daily wear, office or WFH (if you are on Zoom and don't need to be super glam). I don't recommend this for photo shoots or if you're going out somewhere fancy as this lipstick does fade.

I have been obsessed with this colour since I saw a video on Instagram of it being applied. it's very much a "my lips but more burgundy red", like you've just made out with someone. It is a very flattering colour and it doesn't come off too red for someone with rosacea. I feel like it would work for most skin tones because it is very buildable. Like other reviewers said, it is a little dry/drying and I find it's patchy if you put a lip balm on first. It does not last but it does fade nicely so you get quite a few hours out of it. Is it worth the price? No. But if you want to treat yourself to a gorgeous, flattering "me but with oomph" colour I say go for it. I don't regret buying it.

Seriously though, I have this lipstick in more than 10 colors. Did I need it in Brownie, Blush, Sazan Nude, Bare and Blondie Pink? No, they're all various shades of nude. But they're beautiful wearable nudes and they all look great on me. Something about how the pigment melts in with my natural lip color is just magic.I also have this lipstick in more fun colors like Ruby, Plum, Blue Raspberry and Cranberry. Again theses are all great colors that somehow look great on me. And if you're afraid of bold colors, don't be. Ruby is so dark, but you can apply it in a beautifully blotted way that is just so wearable and easy. 10/10 everyone needs at least one of these lipsticks.

Kind of disappointed
20 June 2021

This lipstick is like a balm, but a more sticky one that doesn't glide nearly as smoothly as many, many other BB lip products that I have loved over the years, including the current lip balm in a stick that I adore in Bare Nude. That one is like Vaseline on a stick with a tint that you can wear to dinner or to bed. But this one drags and skips. I was so excited to see brown toned colors again, only to be disappointed by the shades. I love the Cocoa lip pencil, but the Cocoa lipstick was very cool toned, almost a purple not a brown base. The Warm Cocoa was extremely dark and more red based, and Dark Chocolate was also extremely dark and very cool based. I would not have been nearly as disappointed if they resembled the lip tones displayed on the models pictures on ... MoreThis lipstick is like a balm, but a more sticky one that doesn't glide nearly as smoothly as many, many other BB lip products that I have loved over the years, including the current lip balm in a stick that I adore in Bare Nude. I would not have been nearly as disappointed if they resembled the lip tones displayed on the models pictures on the website, but those appeared much lighter and warmer than the colors did in real life. All shades lighter than those mentioned already look very pink on the display, so I didn't even bother. BB started out with 12 brown toned lipsticks as her original entrance into the cosmetics world, bring those tones back, in whatever formula works. Brownie nude, hazelnut, honeyed tea, are all discontinued lip products in various packaging that I dearly miss, along with the toasted pink from the original launch. Bravo for continuing to try to bring back nude/brown tones, but this group of colors works best for those looking for cool toned lips.

My most used lipstick formula ♥️
5 July 2022

At this point of time i own 5 shades from this line. The shade Cabana is absolutely gorgeous, i would describe it as coraly pink with a hint of peach. Trust me its the most perfect shade for summer to wear in the sun ?. The colour the formula and the tint is perfection if you are looking for hydration and easy blotted lip look. These are my everyday office lip products. I am also adding the swatch of a free full size luxe lipstick I received. Shade is Toasted Honey. Fortunately thats not too nude for me. Usually free lip products are kind of useless.

Nice Formula, Can't Find the Right Color
14 January 2023

The Crushed Lipcolor is a lovely formula. I wanted a color like Sandwash Pink, but nothing compares. I was told to try Bare, but it is too orange. I have tried Babe but it is too bright, Italian Rose is too dark, Brownie is too dark, Blush is too light. I do like Suzan Nude just on it's own. It is a beautiful peachy pink nude. I am still looking for a replacement for Sandwash Pink. It is still on your website in the UK. I don't understand why you would discontinue such a popular color. Please bring Sandwash Pink back so your USA customers can enjoy wearing it.

Ok, not good
3 May 2022

Ruby is a great neutral red. The packaging is mod luxe—feels sturdy. The scent is my favorite personally for lipsticks. It has that violet note. The formula however is waxy and not moisturizing. It feels almost satin matte rather than a crushed pigment color. It feathers out well for a gradient lip and slicks nicely for a bold lip. It doesn’t hold up well on its own and smudges with transfers very easily. I wouldn’t wear this under a mask by any chance. This one is old school, a goodie but not a go to anymore.

my lips are super dry, skin is combination, and sensitive on top so lucky me has to twist myself into a pretzel when looking for make up products. this lipstick feels SO comfortable it's amazing. can build up the color - 1 swipe is sheer, 2 swipes color shows up, 3 swipes you're rocking for a night out. pretty neat because it's 3 lipstick shades in 1 really - color gets deeper and richer the more you swipe. this isn't a bold or matte lipstick so if you want bold, maybe better to try something else. here, even the darker/fall shades are still elegant and subtle. love love love - have like 7 shades and I want more. Nice job Bobbi Brown, you have a client for life on these. PLEASE don't change the formula. PRETTY PLEASE.

I love everything in crush lipsticks packaging ,shades n fantastic balmy formula.please don't change the formular.if so just add Shea butter n avocado oil. Anyway I live the colours I owned almost many colours. Not pink or purple base .m.I hate those. Please bring in more colours for summer n fall in crush lipstick. Thank you continue to produce n keep the range. I'm not not impressed with nude range except for few like Italian rose shazen nude blue raspberry. Cocoa completely can't see any shade on lips . Wasted. Bb comes with idea with earthy shades with coral , red , burgundy. Some paste n candy shades .wake up ...bb. 2023 produce more shades in different colour theories.

I have this product in Italian Rose, Brownie, and Pink Blondie. They are quite similar in color (slight differences in depth and all seem to *lean* to a neutral undertone) and in terms of comfort and longevity do not vary. They are comfortable, but the color only last four hours. The product is on the sheer side, which I imagine accounts for the short wear time. They appear as if you blotted a lip stick with more pigment. None I would describe as moisturizing, but they are not dying. Aside from Pink Blondie they are smooth applying. This color, despite the difference when applying, had no issues with making flaws in the texture of the lips (dryness and lines) more apparent, but still of course did not make the lips of appear more smooth. Brownie and Italian Rose were the same as Pink Blondie when came to how texture on lips appear. They colors did not appear to smudge too much, but being a tube, not a liquid, smudged some.. a minimal amount. They did not appear to fade faster when drinking both cold and warm beverages. They lipstick did come off the glass, but there is no difference with how appears on lips.. I have not tried under mask, or in different weather conditions, only when working from home. They allow for quite natural makeup.I recommend this product for those not interested in a high pigment lipstick.
