Check the expiration date before sending

Hello there,I recently purchased some products here.I don't normally check the date for any cosmetics, but today I did.The three "Bobbi Brown" products that I bought were manufactured 12 years ago.The general shelf life is 36 months. This is totally shocking.I mean I cannot trust Boots anymore. I've been buying stuff here for the last 10 years and now, I don't think I will be buying any products here online. Sending products that were made 12 years ago? Wow. I've been trying to contact the help desk, but no response from them.

DISAPPOINTED.I was sold this upon discovering the original pencil version was sadly discontinued. The plastic casing seemed wasteful so the option of refills was the saving grace. I preferred the original pencil as this doesn't stay as 'sharp' over time/use, meaning it becomes a bit clumsy to apply. However I decided to I give it another go because the mahogany shade is perfect for me and I figured it might just take a bit more getting used to. So I come online to grab a refill... only to discover that much like the beloved crayon pencil, my shade has now been discontinued too! I'm even more disappointed to see that the mahogany shade is still available in the full pencil despite the refill being discontinued. What's going on?! To anyone thinking about getting one of these I'd recommend double checking availability of refills if that's important to you.

Great brows in seconds

I’m not one for drawing the lines or creating a brow template on my face. I don’t have to with this pencil. Its slanted lead provides the option to do so, but I just fill in my sparse brows with flat part and the Soft Black color that I have been using for at least a couple years. It’s easy. The color is perfect, not too harsh, and the lead is smooth for an easy application and is long lasting. Pricey at $45, but worth it.

Great if not a little expensive

I really like these skinny brow pencils for drawing fine precise 'hairs' onto my brow and this Bobbi Brown one is one of the best. The formula is perfect - soft enough to see colour but dry enough to still be precise. The shades are all excellent too - the one I picked was beautifully cooltoned and it stays put all day long. I even love the spoolie - its wide enough and not too soft so also helps give the look of 'real' brows. My only gripe is the price. Thi ls seems to be one of the most expensive on the market. If you can afford it or can use a.discount code I think you might just love it! 4.5 stars!

LIFESAVER - But PLEASE bring back Grey!

PLEEZZZZZE. Bring back gray!

I used this item, in gray, for as long as it has existed. But, once you discontinued the gray, no other shade works for me. I'm so disappointed. As far as I can tell, many many others feel the same way! Very bad marketing decision. You should consider bringing back the gray, and advertising it like crazy. You would get all your prior disappointed customers and a lot of new ones, since many women are choosing to go gray!

This WAS my favorite brow pencil. Bring back GRAY!

I have been using this pencil for years and then suddenly they did away with the gray refill! I have mostly gray hair and fair skin; it was the perfect shade. Everything else they wanted me to try has too much red (and brown) which does not match my complexion at all. I have been searching for a replacement since I am down to my last refill (I stocked up when I heard it was being discontinued a few years ago). I can't find anything else that is the right shade or consistency. Please bring back the gray!

Wonderful if they have your color

This is a wonderful product that I have used for years. My hair is white but my brows are still a medium ash brown. I used the Gray shade but now it has been discontinued. That was a terrible name for such a perfect shade for me. The consultant at a well-known department store told me she was putting her Gray clients into Blonde, but it looked red on me. She tried an Anastasia brow pencil in Ash Brown (!) that worked. I really regret that Bobbi Brown discontinued Gray. It was a great product that really worked.

formula is good but shape is wrong

The color (neutral brown) is exactly what I expected and the formula is great, but I don’t understand why they made the stick so thick! It makes it hard to pencil in natural looking hair strokes with a thick pencil. It’s kind of a gimmicky shape in my opinion because it looks like it may enhance application but it hinders application. I’ll keep looking.
