I use it every other day... I brew and store in fridge. Not in the teapot, but transfer it into a glass jar... every other day! Sometimes I like cold tea.

1. Kettle has a metal ring around the base thus not microwave safe! Description says can go in microwave.2. Came just wrapped in bubble paper no box!!!3. Not worth the hassle of returning very disappointed in purchase!

Good teapot! The holes in the canister allow some bits of tea leaf to filter through, so use tea bags if that's a concern. Otherwise, great style and easy to use.

An immaculate bodrum retro teapot, l love it. Packaged really well. Sits pride of place on my kitchen worktop.
Have reservations about this teapot. Mostly because the lid etc.. it does not stay firmly in the bottom glass part. When you tip it up it falls out if you are not holding it
The tea gets cold very fast. Without the lid, pouring the tea is a nightmare. You have to be really slow. The handle is pretty unstable, it feels like it is going to break any time. The glass is super thin, you need to be very careful when you are cleaning the pot.
I was disappointed when I learned I could not heat water in the tea pot, as it cannot go in the microwave nor can it be heated on the stove. Also, some of my tea was small enough that it went through the holes of the infuser. Not worth sending back, but had I known all of this I would have simply bought a stainless tea infuser.
Oh how a cuppa tastes so much better with tea leaves in this infuser teapot
I enjoy brewing tea using loose / bulk tea leaves, but could never really find a quick, easy, convenient method of doing so. I purchased this Bodum Tea Press to try out.....price was reasonable, and seemed pretty simple in design. It has worked out very well - have used it many times, and with several different tea varieties ( gunpowder, Yunnan blk teas, and even smoked teas ). Only advice I would give is to be careful with using flavored / smoked tea blends - the taste tends to bleed over into the next couple times you use it, even after washing with dish soap & water. Overall though, very satisfied
I suggest you not buy this teapot. The teapot is designed with a press within the cylinder filter, which has some issues:-the press does not reach the bottom of the filter cylinder; thus, you lose part of the tea you infused,-the filter cylinder misses the holes in the bottom part,-the holes of the plastic filter are big enough so that a good amount of tea leaves pass through,-the plastic appears cheap and not perfectly fitting the teapot, so the composing part of the teapot moves a lot, and in my case, I received the teapot with a broken part of the plastic.
