Really easy to use French press that fits tightly around the glass. Pros: inexpensive, easy to use and clean, good coffee taste. Cons: doesn't keep the coffee hot for too long since it's a glass french press. However, you must buy a French press based on how much coffee you will drink in that moment rather than holding it for an hour+; if you want to make multiple cups for yourself, you'll need to transfer this into an insolated travel mug or drink it comes. I would improve this product by offering it in multiple sizes. This is very affordable, especially since this is good quality french press that doesn't leak coffee grinds into your cup of coffee. I would recommend this to everyone wanting to try a French press at home.

Serve your favorite coffee anywhere! This french press holds 34 ounces of water. Since it’s a “steeping method” of brewing, the coffee making in a minutes, what could be faster and easier!? Very simple and comfy to use anywhere: at home or at work, just simple put as many spoons of ground coffee as you desire and poor freshly broiled water. You can order this useful kitchen press online in Target for example. Enjoy! 😋☕️

I got this French Press as a gift for my boyfriend because this was his first French Press and it looked simple and easy to use. It was until it exploded one day. My boyfriend was badly burned. I would not recommend this product to anyone. It is not durable even when used and cleaned properly. Do not buy this brand. The metal coil on the press does not withstand heat after multiple uses.

Great coffee maker
12 August 2022

It's a great coffee maker. As a brazilian born and raised in Brazil. I don't knonw why they called this coffee maker Bodum Brazil. French presses are not very popular over there. But, I caucht my attention. The coffee maker that is still very popular over there is the italian boiling water coffee maker that splits in the middle. Target does not sell that one. I had to purchase some place eles. This one is great. It is not expensive and very eficient. I use it at work. The reason I gave 4 stars for Desing is that the plastic cup that holds the glass needs some work to have the water traped inside be free. When you poor the coffee in your cup all the way to the end the water traped in the plastic cup drips on your table. Anoying. Not hard to fix that with little holes ... MoreIt's a great coffee maker. Great value!

I’ve no issues with this product it works as expected. I use this for tea and coffee, I make thai tea often and using a cloth strainer was a little too tedious for me. I’d like to address the exploding issue because I feel like that is more of a user error rather than the product itself. I usually add warm water into the carafe then dumping it out before pouring in my heated water. I also wait about 30 seconds to 1 minute before pouring in my boiling water so it doesn’t get thermal shock and crack/explode. It also says in the instructions to add hot water not boiling water. Also some users tend to push on the plunger really fast or they force the plunger down when there is a lot of resistance. DO NOT DO THIS!! Also some users tend to push on the plunger really fast or they force the plunger down when there is a lot of resistance. DO NOT DO THIS!! You are supposed to use course coffee grounds, if they are too fine you risk clogging up the filter and if the coffee can’t escape through the filter then you start pushing down you will create pressure and it’s gonna explode. If this happens try pulling the plunger up about 1cm or 2 then push down again. If it is still stuck just leave it there. Also there is some “leaking” issue. I’ve found that the plastic base can collect water after washing or if you just happen to spill into it. When you pour out your beverage it can pour out what is in the base. The carafe is removable so it is easy to clean the base and dry it so I had no issue with this. It also says 3 cup/12oz which is quite misleading. 3cups in French press terms means 1cup=4oz so it makes sense. It’s 12oz so it’s enough for 1 cup at a time. I only make a cup for myself but if you are planning to make more than 1 cup at a time consider buying a bigger french press. Overall this thing is cheap and for its quality I’d say it’s pretty good. Great bang for your buck item.

I am happy I purchased the French press

I use mine to make iced coffee. It is delicious. I have a k cup machine that makes iced coffee but I always ended up throwing the iced coffee down the sink as it had a nasty taste. The French press makes delicious iced coffee. I wash it by hand as the glass feels very delicate. I believe this was probably made for the after dinner coffee as after dinner coffee cups hold 4 ounces. The coffee mugs most people use for hot coffee hold 12 ounces of coffee. You could make 4 eight ounce coffees.

I have a new best friend - The French Press
11 March 2019

I'm a natural night owl with a traditional office job. These are two things that don't go well together, even after a decade of trying. The other problem with an office job is that people are quick to drink all the coffee from the percolating machines without starting a new batch. Last year, I got this French Press as a birthday gift from a friend and it changed the game. With this French Press, I was able to start brewing some decent coffee while working in an office setting - without having to share it with everyone else. The office coffee machine dispenses boiling water which is absolutely perfect. At this point, I now have two - one for the office, one for home. I can even do both on the same brew - drink one cup sooner and let the rest brew longer. It also works really well with making a cold brew.Overall, this is a simple brewing method with great results.

Shattered during Handwashing
7 October 2019

I liked the seemingly heavy glass, and well formed plastic. It felt heavy and quality and I was pleased with how long it kept the brew hot and how nicely the press worked. The key for the press was slightly annoying, but it felt like a durable, nice piece for daily use. I was thinking about getting a second one.I was wrong. While washing it normally in the sink in a stainless steel tub, the glass split and broke into several pieces. I was lucky not to be cut.I haven't even had it two weeks, maybe used it 5 or 6 times. My Bodum press with the metal sleeve and glass insert has been perfect for years - I've even taken it backpacking and been far more abusive with it than some normal handwashing.I'm not sure what happened with this version - but I was very ... MoreI liked the seemingly heavy glass, and well formed plastic. Works well...
6 February 2023

My husband uses this every morning. It works well. Better used with coarse grounds since the fine stuff easily passes through the mesh screen. Cleaning is easy, only reason for the 4 stars is the grounds easily gets stuck between the mesh and the press next to the mesh. You have to slightly separate the two to flush all the grounds out. Not a big deal but worth mentioning.

still using my Bodum Kenya due to design issue
3 April 2021

I bought this because I wanted a nicer model than the cheaper bodum Kenya that was my 1st French press. it had good reviews. it looks nicer. however ewhen I received it and started using I immediately saw the issue once you pour the water in the plunger only fits on ONE way with the pour spout turned forwards or OPEN. I saw no reviews when I purchased that mentioned this. I subsequently searched around the internet Bodum Brazil and found other people complaining about this design issue. Because of it, as soon as you brew the coffee there is no way to turn the spout closed so basically all of the heat is escaping. I bought a 51ounce model and that doesn't really work out very conveniently. so I find myself resorting to my original Bodum Kenya unless I haven't washed ... MoreI bought this because I wanted a nicer model than the cheaper bodum Kenya that was my 1st French press. it had good reviews. it looks nicer. however ewhen I received it and started using I immediately saw the issue once you pour the water in the plunger only fits on ONE way with the pour spout turned forwards or OPEN.
