Bodum Brazil French Press Coffee Maker, 3 Cup, 0.35 L, 12 oz Off White

First time having French press coffee, haven’t even used one of these things before. Such a satisfying and intentional way to make delicious coffee. I wish it had the locking lid but it says right in the manual the Brazil model doesn’t so I can’t be upset.

After using the french press for a week I can only think of positive things to say about it!-it is very easy for beginners and experienced coffee makers to use.-Super easy to clean (I hand wash just to be safe)-The structure of the press feels well constructed and not cheap-Provides an easy way to make quality coffee no more coffee pot or Keurig-If you are thinking about getting into french press coffee or dont have room in the kitchen for a big coffee machine (such in my case) I highly recommend getting this Bodum french press it is cheap quality press that is sure to last a long time while not taking up too much space!

I have been using my Bodum 3 Cup French Press for awhile now. It actually makes one standard size coffee cup of coffee. Perfect for me, since I’m the only one here, and usually only drink one cup. I’ve used other brands of French Press coffee makers, and I’ve found that Bodum is my favorite. The quality is good. The glass removes from the plastic holder for cleaning. And the lid has slats over the pouring area to help catch any grounds that sneaked their way past the mesh screen. I’d definitely recommend this!

A smart and practical coffee maker

Bodum "Brazil" plungers are smart and practical, but have one flaw. The ball which secures the internal stainless steel parts of the plunger is made from Bakelite, rather than metal, which wears out over time (hence my four-star review). Still, they are inexpensive, easy to clean, and make great coffee.

Good Quality but not 8 Cups

Seems to be good quality and easy to clean, but it definitely doesn't make 8 cups. If you like a decent sized mug if coffee, it makes 2-4 max.Also, I was hoping thatbthe glass beaker would be removable and replaceable in case it breaks, but it is not.

Good french press with minor design flaw

Works well though the classic design was a bit more user friendly. The lid needs to be adjusted so it fits under where the handle is attached. This is not a major issue and it makes nice coffee.

Great value, great coffee

Love that this French press makes a decent amount in one go for 4 average sized coffees, or 2 really big ones (with some leftover!). Bought this to take camping and enjoy good coffee over Easter and it didn’t disappoint. It is durable, easy to use and clean, and was great value on sale.

I Use It As A Mug

Stupid cheap, makes great coffee - and the coffee isn't what I bought it for. Prices on large mugs are daft these days, and this, if you yank the steel rod and presser system out, is an utterly lovely mug. With a lid. That you can microwave. Gotta make sure that this model is what you get if you plan to microwave it, because other Bodum presses have metal framework which would be bad. As would leaving any metal in it, y'know?To which add: I like the style, and it's comfy to hold while drinking from. Coffee, smoothies, whatever: Go.
