Bodum Insulated Stainless-Steel Vacuum Travel Mug, 0.45-Liter, 15-Ounce, Black

I have been enjoying my travel mug. It keeps hot drinks hot for hours. It’s so handy to bring everywhere. Easy to hold. Does not slip. Easy to clean. Easily fit a cup holder.

Bought some of these for Christmas gifts. One for my son and one for my son’s fiancé. They love to drink coffee out of it. They said it keeps the coffee hot, and it fits perfectly in their vehicle cup holders.

Functional, but not valuable

I had one of these as my first travel mug and wasn't impressed, as I had purchased it not realising it wasn't leakproof even though it's price point is comparable to travel mugs that fair better. The other issue is that it's size is a bit bulky compared to containers with similar volumes. The last con is that the heat retention isn't great, in 8 hours the liquid will be just warm. That being said it is a nice looking mug and doesn't look too rugged for being insulated and the silicone is a cute touch mimicking the single-use travel mugs.

Great product, dissapointingly flawed for my use!

I love the design of this product and its quality and functionality is spot on as you would expect from a fairly pricey travel mug. I have 2 main problems with it that detract from a 5 star review, firstly it is a larger diameter base than a regular drinks can, therefore it does not fit in the cup holder in my car (skoda octavia), i nearly took the product back purely for this reason as it this alone makes it almost useless for me. Ask me in 6 months time wether i have persevered with this or thrown more tea around the car trying to balance it in places and given up on it. Great; at First :(

When I first received this travel mug I thought it was a great performer, however this great performance only lasted about 3 months. This is supposed to be an insulated travel mug and should perform similar to a stainless steel vacuum bottle and keep your beverage hot for quite some time. When they are new and you fill it with coffee the outer wall of the mug stays cool to the touch and the coffee remained hot for more than two hours, however after 3 months they begin to loose the vacuum seal due to what is obviously a design error. Given my experience with this product can I recommend you purchase it? My answer has to be a resounding NO!

KEEPS LIQUIDS HOT

I love the design and the functionality of this travel mug. It is also sold at a very decent price for how long it lasts. It keeps your tea (or coffee, etc.) hot for hours. The flip-top mouth piece is very easy to use and it also comes with a pop-out stirrer to stir your favourite drinks with on-the-go. The bottom gripper holds your drink securely in place whatever you set it on and the gripper in the middle of the mug is non-slip for sipping while you walk. I will probably continue buying these mugs, although, due to its excellent quality and durability, one or two should last a lifetime.

Keeps coffee VERY hot for a long time!

We love our new travel coffee mugs. They are HUGE but seem to fit in the coffee holders in our cars. Beware that you're getting a LARGE mug of coffee with these. I was impressed how long it keeps the coffee piping hot...we're talking hours later it's just as warm as when you poured it! It is a tight seal too and while I haven't dropped it while it's full I have knocked it over and nothing comes out. Nice looking like all Bodum but not really efficient

Having bought a stainless steel walled cup, which I use daily at work, thought I would try the plastic double walled version as my original stains badly. The plastic one looks good, but it does not hold heat anywhere near as good. I will stick with the stainless steel version going forward. On reflection the plastic one would be better for iced drinks only

So Disappointed with the new style of lid!!

I've had 2 of the old style (screwtop lids) for years, but managed to snap the clip of the lid on one of them, so bought 2 of these. They leak if not kept upright...the old style were fantastic, I could throw it in my bag and it never leaked. Also, it doesn't seem to keep the coffee as hot. I wish I'd only bought the 1 to try

Worst travel mug ever

I own quite a few travel mugs as I love alternating between them. This has been by far the worst I’ve owned. It leaks! Not a little bit, but constantly until there is no liquid left. It has ruined a few of my bags. I am extremely disappointed. Save yourself the hassle and get a better one (for instance REI or Hanna ones are far superior).
