For those looking for an alternative to the ChemEx that doesn't require you keep paper filters on hand, #Bodum makes a lovely pour over coffee maker that has a cork handle and features a stainless steel mesh filter. I find it is better for the environment, suuupppeerrr easy to clean, looks GORGEOUS, and makes delightful coffee. I drink black coffee and the quality of the coffee I drink is paramount. This does the high grade beans I use justice-could not recommend it more. It tastes better than a french press to me- the coffee tastes cleaner, lighter, and more fragrant with this.

Better tasting coffee

I’m liking this alright. It’s difficult to clean. You definitely need a bottle brush. I’m still getting the hang of making coffee with this. My Keriug- I’m constantly cleaning it. I also tried the pour over by Hamilton. Coffee is better tasting that’s for sure.

I just Love this ! Great way to make the perfect cup of coffee. Adjust it for your personal taste. Once you get it adjusted, you will have the easiest , best cup of coffee at home ! Good price and Well worth it. Careful not to nick it while washing it, it Will crack. Other than that, you too Will Adore this Pour Over drip pot !

Bodum pour over coffee

Very pleased! I couldn't wait to try the Bodum pour over once it arrived. let me just say DELICIOUS. Im still waiting for the gooseneck kettle to arrive to add control to nice controlled pour. I was able to heat water on stovetop and make the 8 cups in the Bodum quicker then my Rival single serve drip coffee maker and the flavor doesn't disappoint.

Easy to use, portable, right priced

This pour over coffee maker is a perfect size. The filter requires no extra paper filters. The pot with the cork collar protects your hand from heat. I was happy to find a lower priced coffee pot for traveling.

Great Brewer

Great Pour over and beautiful design. Very Chemex looking and can be used with a paper filter like a Chemex to get that clean taste vs the metal mesh filter that lets all the oils through. Easy to clean, but you might want to get a bottle brush to get it well as the narrow opening, you can't get your hand in there.

Great coffee!

I just needed a simple coffee maker since I was away from home and I only had 2 options at the local Walmart. I’m soooo glad I went with this! It makes great coffee! You can’t use anything too finely ground or it will go through the metal filter, which is fine for most since the average coffee drinker gets pre ground. If you want a good cup of coffee without any fuss, I recommend this!!! I still use it even though I have multiple options at home, it’s similar to a French press in taste.

This wasn’t a quick decision for me. I was originally interested in purchasing a French press. But ended up deciding against it when I realized it would end up becoming a costly venture. For $20 I thought, what is the harm in trying the pour over? The filter basket allows me to keep my current coffee and I already own a kettle. Albeit it’s not the fancy long stemmed kind but it serves its purpose. I’ve used the pour over several times now and I couldn’t be happier. I add my grounds (Colombian, great value) to the filter and when my kettle sings I slowly “bloom” my grounds. You learn as you go, but it’s super easy to figure out. Perfect for 2 people

We like our coffee fresh, and it's got to be pour-over. I've tried several pour-over systems. I like this because of the convenient size, and the stainless steel filter. It provides a rich cup of coffee without exposure to plastic or aluminum.I highly recommend.
