The FTG30 is a great all round machine, particularly coupled with some Olympic plates..The build quality is really good and it's really sturdy overall. I haven't bolted mine down and it hasn't moved or wobbled at all.The instructions were relatively clear and assembly took 2 hours on my own. I would recommend getting someone to help though, particularly to balance the larger bits while you bolt them up, particularly if you aren't too handy with a spanner yourself.The range of exercises available is great and transitions between exercises is quick and easy with the quick release sliders. I've been lifting weights consistently for over 43 years. Currently 61 years old, 85kg at 180cm. I am still inside the 10% world standard - bench my own body weight, squat 1.5x my own body weight and Dead 2x my own body weight. I'm not stopping now. I built my own gym when Covid hit. Made my own squat and bench rack out of timber, used adjustable DB's and BB and kept going. Now, I have a fully loaded indoor/outdoor gym. Most of the key pieces from WFA. Recent purchase - Body Iron FTG30 Smith machine and multi pulley. I communicated with WFA by PM and then phone and they were on it. I bought the machine at a discounted price (around 50% of RRP) and it arrived 4 days later. I know my equipment and I must admit I was a little skeptical about how smooth it would run - as even the best Smith Machines stick a little, which drives me mad. Even happened at Golds in Cali... But not the FTG30! I keep it lubed with a tiny spray of WD40 and then wipe down the runners (important!) and of course made sure it sat square on the ground - also important! I love it! Now I need some more plates and other bits and pieces. WFA will be my go to. Well done team! You guys know your stuff and deliver on promises. Nice work!!
I needed a more compact power rack & this has ticked all boxes. Took about two hours to set up. Be sure to use a Silicone based lubricant every two weeks or so to maintain its smooth movements over time.Cable system is very smooth & great pulleys. Smith is well made and doesn’t feel sticky. Pull up bar is very sturdy. I’d recommend also getting the body iron dip bars that wfa have for sale I got the 50mm x 50mm and it fits greatThis rack doesn’t take up much space like other but you still have plenty of room insideWorld fitness Aus we’re great to speak to & it got delivered it to me in Sydney in like 3 days with free shipping.

Assembly was very simple, took just over an hour by myself. Have used it now for nearly two weeks and very impressed. No need for a lot of equipment when you have this.
Such a great piece of multi function equipment that can be used to train every body part. Easy to set up (took about 3 hours) Smith works great , duel cable is smooth. Can be used with standard or Olympic plates on smith and cables. Storage horns are only Olympic only.Fast delivery took about a week to Wollongong.
This machine is a great all rounder for any level! I match this with a 160kg olympic barbell set and i can practically do any work out i need.
Fantastic value for money for the beginner home gym user. Great quality and super easy to put together.Be sure to lube the cable mechanism otherwise won’t slide that easily. The instructions didn’t mention that but worked seamlessly after.
