Bombay Sapphire Citron Presse Gin 700ml

I'm a big fan of gin so was really excited to have the chance to try this latest offering from Bombay Sapphire. The gin boasts 100% natural flavours and colours from freshly harvested (Mediterranean) lemons - and you can totally taste there is nothing artificial about this wonderful gin. The lemon and botanicals are perfectly balanced, there is a pleasant bitterness from the zest finished with a slight sweetness which is lovely and refreshing. I like to keep things uncomplicated so just add ice cold sparkling water to my gin so as to enjoy it at its purest. That said, this gin would also be wonderful mixed with fresh orange juice to create a St Clements, in cooler months, ginger syrup and sparking water will be the order of the day. I am absolutely loving gin at the moment and knew that I had to try this one. It is the first Pink gin I have tried and the bottle itself is beautiful Will have to do something crafty with it when it is all gone The drink itself is really nice, I tried it straight and also with lemonade. I love the berry flavours in this gin, the gin is quite strong but with lemonade it is a really nice balance. There is a lovely berry aftertaste as well yummy I would highly recommend to those who love a fruity gin, it would also be lovely in the summer at a garden party as a present or something especially with how bright the bottle is. I received these products complementary from influenster for testing purposes. I normally drink pink gin but I also love lemon drinks so getting this was a perfect chance to try. I love the bottle design with the lemons on the label and the bottle is etched on the side which gives this a nice touch and you can clearly see the amount remaining. I tried this neat but too strong but mixed with lemonade I love this you can get the Mediterranean lemon taste vibrantly, love how they are 100% natural flavours colours and no added sugar I will certainly be purchasing again, the taste is amazing and very easy to drink.

The purchase of this gin was complimentary and incentivised to me by Influenster. This is a really lovely, light and refreshing drink. We’ve really enjoyed tasting this this evening and I don’t think we will stop at just the one. We mixed it with lemonade and ice in our highballs. We both also said we preferred it with a straw. The lemon is crisp and slightly sweet followed by a tang at the end. It’s really hard for me to find a gin that I enjoy as I do prefer my citrusy flavours so this is a game changer for me! The bottle is luxuriously sleek and stunning. I felt really elegant swanning round Asda with my Bombay sapphire in hand. I will be buying this gin again and recommending it to my friend who is also a citrus lover. It’d also make a perfect gift.

Just the right combination of gin and lemon not sour or bitter I added cucumber to mine which made it really refreshing. Just hints of lemon reminds me of trip to Italy. I am a gin drinker usually drink mine with tonic water and cucumber slices. The bottle of frosted is sleek elegant and stylish. Looks like a premium product. Great as a gift or to enjoy yourself in the summer evenings.

Given a free bottle in return for an impartial review. I figured what the heck? Free booze right? Fully expecting not to like this. Expecting it to be very sweet as so many new fruity gins on the market are. Or that it would taste cheap and artificial and that Bombay sapphire were selling on the name rather than quality. I WAS WRONG. As the photo clearly shows one empty glass. Because it’s been necked already! 😱 It’s light and fruity and delicious and oh so easy to drink. I’d recommend it with elderflower tonic. You have been warned! Yum! 😀

Absolutely perfect for this time of year, it’s crisp and fresh yet not sour. It reminds me of a fresh, cloudy lemonade. It goes down smoothly and is perfect matched with tonic or lemonade.
