To be honest, I feel like this review is a bit premature as products like this are best tested with time. My preliminary report is they seem to work quite well with low flow (not tested in any other setting). I find the fit is smaller than with other brands I currently wear so I would recommend buying a size up for comfort and better coverage. The bulk of the product takes a little getting used to but I found myself not really noticing it after a while. Obviously this is not a product you are going to wear tights with but slim jeans were passable. This is the kind of enviromentally responsible product you want to want to get your behind behind; we shall see over time if it is reliable enough to ditch disposables.

I have previously bought 3 pairs of black bonds period undies from *another store*.(they are still bonds brand, same as the ones bonds sell on their website) I bought size 14 because they are smaller. And I love them!I bought a new colourful pair, also size 14, they're way bigger than the size 14 I already have....which seems really stupid. Also, online if you go to this website: https://www.bonds.com.au/womens/bloody-comfy-undies.html Right at the bottom there are some questions. Under "How long will my Bonds Bloody Comfy™ Period Undies last?" The answer is:"Expect your Bonds Bloody Comfy™ Period Undies to last as long as your regular Bonds undies. For a longer lasting look and finish ensure you wash and care for them by following the care instructions."BUT ... MoreI have previously bought 3 pairs of black bonds period undies from *another store*.(they are still bonds brand, same as the ones bonds sell on their website) I bought size 14 because they are smaller. I love the idea of these! I’m not a fan of the massive horizontal seam across the butt though. It’s visible through pants and I can feel it. I have worn them once and a few times thought they had fallen halfway down my butt. Also, if I slept on my back wearing these, they would leak for sure!! I feel all these problems would be solved if the entire back was layered. It is also rather inconvenient having to rinse and wash them right after wearing. Seems a waste of electricity and water to run the washing machine for just one pair of undies, but I wouldn’t want to leave them in the hamper to wait for a full load. Also noticed slight shrinkage of the outer layers after first wash. Inner layers don’t seem to fit inside the outer layers anymore causing some slight bunching.

I love Bonds and have only ever bought bonds underwear, however am really disappointed in the ‘bloody comfy undies’ I bought two pairs to try and after just one wash the layers in the padded fabric on both pairs were bunched up at the back which created a very obvious thick line. This made them so uncomfortable, especially when you sit down it feels like you are sitting on a 3cm thick seam. I also found they were not very breathable and after a few hours I felt very sweaty and couldn’t wait to take them off. I have since tried another brand of period undies and they are a life changer. The same amount of absorbency but far less bulk which make them feel like normal underwear and after multiple washes they fit just as well. I was hesitant at first but all the positive feedback I have heard from others convinced me to try these out. I have a very heavy flow and have major anxiety with leakages. I also have sensitive skin down there and often rash when using pads, and tampons can cause me irritation. That time of the month is not easy for me at all.I have worn these only once, but I am in love and will be purchasing more! They are super comfortable! It feels like almost wearing nothing. I was able to sleep through the whole night with out any accidents. My skin felt like it could still breath and didn't seem to be effected at all unlike when I use pads. I highly recommend these! They are a lifesaver!
I hate pads with a passion. I only wear them at night. I decided to give these a shot because they were on special. They were uncomfortable when I first put them on, they seemed too tight and bulky. I can now say I’ll never wear pads again! When I woke up the next morning there was no leaking, it wasn’t uncomfortable and there were no smells. They are so easy to clean and quick drying too. I’m glad I didn’t give up on them after I first put them on. For the ladies that hate pads, I definitely recommend these.
If I could give more than 5 stars I would. These are the best purchase I have ever made.My anxiety about accidentally leaking or having spots on my pants during the day? Gone! Go to bed with these on? No leaks, no spots, nothing staining my thighs, still as comfortable as when I went to bed. Environmentally sustainable, so easy to wash, and comfortable as heck with no 'wet diaper' feeling you get sometimes with pads.I literally cannot recommend these enough, do yourself a favour and buy a pair and just try it out and you'll see what I mean! Catch me in my whitest pants whilst horse back riding, that's how confident I am in these and how much I love them!
I bought a trial pack (5pairs) and gave them a full trial. I found that they lasted me a full day of work or overnight (although I do not have super heavy days as I have gotten older). The moderate pair seemed to be fine under normal fitted clothes, although the low and tight fit gave more problems with VPL than anything!I thought they were ok, until I washed them and then the inside fabrics in the gusset must have stretched and now bunch up and move. This makes a more definite and visible line where it meets the seam. Such a shame. Will be keeping them for overnight use only now and will look at other brands to try to day use. Sizing is also very small and digs into hips.
I was recommended these by a friend and am eternally grateful!!Provides the protection of a pad but feels 100x comfier, literally just like underwear. Zero discomfort or wetness and often (for my medium flow) can wear one the whole day (or night) without feeling nervous about leaks. I haven't even considered buying tampons or pads again since I got these a couple months ago, and I'd only consider wearing tampons on super heavy day 2's if I'm going to be out all day. The washing process is super easy - I just wash it before/in the shower and chuck it in the machine and most times its dry by the next day. After looking at videos and reviews, I followed the suggestion of sizing up. I tend to wear either 8 or 10 and found 10 fits really well.
compared to toms period underwear these are more comfortable for me (toms has a not elastic edge of the leg holes that i find uncomfortable. size 10 is great for me and flexible material. i have light-medium periods currently. bought on sale at coles
