I was expecting the size 5 pant would be big for my almost 5 yo, as it would be with his other Bonds clothes. I was surprised when it fits him nicely, as he is a bit on the smaller side. Nevertheless, due to the elastic band and the roomy sides, he will grow nicely into it.

Great quality, just keep in mind they are a long make. I was expecting shorts for my daughter like you normally buy but they are more tailored to a boys length right down to the knees. Still a great purchase, thick material and glad I bought them, just wish I knew they were long.
The high waisted elastic on these shorts ensure that they fit my talk but skinny toddler. The fabric is a soft and is sturdy enough for my sons active lifestyle.
My daughter is very active at school sports and does not really like to wear "skorts" when playing soccer, athletics etc. Have been looking for suitable shorts for a while...and these are perfect! Not too boyish...not too long...and while they look heavy duty they are light and comfortable. Half way into the term- they are washing and wearing well. My daughter has endorsed them...and they have pockets as a bonus!
I love that the shorts are made of a thick material, I feel confident that they will be durable and endure many active days of school and play. I appreciate that the Bonds logo is in black, on black making them suitable for my son to wear at school. My son finds them comfortable to wear and we both like the style.
Great value shorts. I’ve been using these as school basics for years. Stand up well to kids’ heavy use. Wash and dry well.
The shorts look smart on my son, however I prefer more natural looking garments from Bonds. Sizing is great, the tween range is a fabulous idea.
