This version is about 40 grams heavier than the previous generation. I was surprised by the hefty feeling. There are lighter products out there. Other than that its works fine as a stem.

The Bontrager Blendr stem is the best invention and should be awarded the Nobel prize. It’s the only way to mount your computer and light because it keeps everything central, looking sleek and leaving room on your handlebars to show off your Zipp logos. I used to buy those really expensive K-edge mounts (which are cool) but the mounts for this stem are half the price and do a better job. The stem has a beautiful mat finish so it looks just as good as an expensive stem. Buy this, it’s the smart thing to do.
I purchased this and had it fitted as part of a bike fit and it has made a difference to comfort on longer rides.
